• Assist Inventory Planning Executive in validating count results of cycle counts/Customs stock take (during and after the count)
• Maintain and update records that will be used as references for checking and validation of items
• Assist Inventory Planning Executive in checking SKU’s with source code (EAN/UPC) or price tag issues and report it promptly to Inventory Control superiors
• Liaise with Retail Operations in printing of new price tags for items with incorrect source codes
• Process returns to warehouse in Glob+
• Checks breakages and damaged items at each store and maintain a Liqour Breakage & Damaged Items Monitoring Listing
• Any other duties which may be assigned by immediate superior/Manager from time to time

• Diploma or related qualification in Inventory Management or related discipline
• At least 2 years experience in Inventory Control or Planning from multi-stores retail or travel retail industry
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Intermediate level)
• Good business acumen and analytical skills

Purchasing:

-Obtain quotes to various vendors upon receipt of Request for Quotation.

-Closely follow-up and ensure timely receipt of quotations.

-Extensively source required products / services in the most economical way.

-Prepare and evaluate bid tabulation for recommendation on the best quotation option.

-Timely placement of orders to avoid delays in material deliverables.

-Monitor and expedite delivery as and when required.

- Data Entry for billing to related Takagi Ramen/ Takagi Food/ Daichi Kitchen

Logistic:

- Operate vehicle safely and efficiently, ensuring that all stock are transported to their destination on time.

- Responsible for smooth logistics activity, warehousing transportation, and shipping by closely communicate with internal and external parties. Deliver stock from warehouse to outlets

- Warehouse duties such as unloading goods from containers & arranging them

- Inventory Management (Receiving, checking, ordering and counting of stocks from suppliers), ensure warehouse is arranged in an orderly manner

- Operate Pallet Jack and Pallet Stacker to keep warehouse neat and tidy

- Assist Driver to unload goods to the outlets.

- Maintain housekeeping and safety for the warehouse area

- Liaise with freight forwarder and handing import shipment documents

- In charge of financial month end & year end physical stocks take listing

- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process data entry and filling.
• Assist in process of documents and order for office usage.
• Updating of approved vendor's listing and vendor evaluation forms.
• Prepares monthly report for petty cash.
• Placing of orders for food service, indirect materials and re-order level of stock levels.
• Sourcing of better priced and quality products.
• Co-ordinate with the vendors or suppliers on the date and times of deliveries.
• Able to negotiate with the various suppliers and/or vendors to get the best prices and quality products.
• Other add-hoc duty assigned by management.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at least a Diploma in any field.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experiences in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and other purchasing software.
• Possess strong negotiation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good administrative and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of purchasing, storage and issue stock control procedures.
• Able to work independently and as well as a team.
