Working hours: Mon – Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary: $2700 - $3000 + AWS

Responsibilities:

• Issuing, sending of PO via email and keep track of PO for procurement activities.
• Liaising with store to monitor stock inventories required by Operations Unit is in place to avoid any potential material shortage
• Liaising with plant for their requirements.
• Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory
• Liaising/correspondence with suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries
• Continuously sourcing of parts/materials as and when required
• Performing Goods received and updating of system
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other necessary data
• Co-ordinating with forwarder for preparing of documents/permit for incoming shipment clearance
• Continuously liaising with Sales and other departments for their new requirement of material/parts
• To negotiable and obtain best price quotes from suppliers based on various PR request within the company
• Deals with defective goods damaged goods as and when required
• Performing monthly stock take
• General Admin Duties
• Any other ad hoc jobs assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in procurement.
• At least diploma or degree in purchasing or equivalent.

skills & experience required

• Master / Degree / Diploma in supply chain / mechanical / electrical engineering or related
• Min 8 years in procurement of rubber and rubber related raw materials with 4 years in management
• Success in implementing procurement strategies and achieving cost savings
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and contract negotiation

• Responsible for tactical sourcing of new parts to new and existing approved vendor list suppliers
• Responsible for price analysis and lead time negotiation with new suppliers
• Responsible for the negotiation to ensure and improve suppliers' price competitiveness, lead-time and on time delivery
• Responsible for RFQ (Request For Quotation)
• Responsible for creating Supplier contracts and negotiating for the terms and maintain Agreements in SAP
• Responsible for vendor management to ensure approved vendors meet the delivery, quality and cost standards
