Job Scope:

• Managing SG spending for Direct, Indirect Material and Equipment category.
• Managing Compliance, System & Process enhancement projects for SEA Market
• Prepare monthly savings reports and pipeline consolidation into procurement portal
• Learn and apply Total Delivered Cost sourcing process tool and skill to execute sourcing initiative
• Identifies, develops, and implements sourcing strategies and savings projects
• Collaborate with Regional Category Team to develop and implement strategies
• Engages supplier organization and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones and action plans.
• Engages appropriate resources (Quality, Supply Chain, RDE, Regulatory) to qualify and approve potential new suppliers
• Assembles contracts and implements supply positions to ensure the security of supply and achievement of procurement goals
• Work closely with the Supply Chain team on inventory control, quality of materials, process safety for material used.

Job Requirement

• Min Degree in Engineering/Chemistry/Business and/or procurement experience with 3 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in chemical / lifescience industry is an added advantage
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice
• Prior experience and knowledge about ERP integration or Microsoft Power BI is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Issuing, sending of PO via email and keep track of PO for procurement activities.
• Liaising with store to monitor stock inventories required by Operations Unit is in place to avoid any potential material shortage
• Liaising with open lines of communication and collaboration, manufacturing teams can ensure plant requirements are met efficiently and production runs smoothly.
• Maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory
• Liaising/correspondence with suppliers to schedule deliveries or to discuss shortages or missed deliveries
• Continuously sourcing of parts/materials as and when required
• Performing Goods received and updating of system
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other necessary data
• Coordinating with forwarder for preparing of documents/permit for incoming shipment clearance
• Continuously liaising with Sales and other departments for their new requirement of material/parts
• To negotiable and obtain best price quotes from suppliers based on various Purchase Requisition request within the company
• Deals with defective goods damaged goods as and when required
• Performing monthly stock take
• Any other ad hoc jobs assigned.

· Establishing and maintaining good communication with all departments to ensure efficient communications.

· Compile purchasing cost saving report

· All Purchasing related administrative work

Requirements

· Diploma in Engineering or O Level with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.

· Possess outstanding interpersonal and strong negotiation skills, ability to work independently.

· Experience in vendor quality management and practices in purchasing & inventory management.
