Position: IT Procurement Sourcing Lead

Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a IT Procurement Sourcing Lead to assist with Global IT Category procurement.

In this role, you will focus on finding the best suppliers to support our business needs.

This professional will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the quality of data used for spend analysis and reporting for our organization.

Ensures quality of data by interpreting patterns and trends using digital tools and methods including data modeling and data mining.

You will also conduct cost-benefit analyses to determine where we can improve, re-negotiating contracts with existing suppliers.

You will have to spend time developing various approaches to procuring and contracting external support from the marketplace in

line with current industry standards.

Part of this involves researching suppliers and gathering information from vendor databases to support Category management leaders across the globe as part of decision-making process.

This role is essential to the efficiency and success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Purchase Analysis

• Manage various IT procurement projects that include the areas of purchasing, contracting sourcing and category management.

• Assist the team in IT Procurement related activities as needed

• Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by Global and Regional Category Leads

• Work with Global & Regional Category leads to formulate negotiation plans

• Analyze industry trends and market competitions to develop business improvement initiatives

• Understand business objectives so as to generate project information, action items, schedule and deliverables for the team

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join the Procurement Department at Site.

Main responsibilities:

• To get quotation from supplier on materials and consumable products
• To prepare PO and issue to supplier on materials and consumable products.
• To prepare DO and arrange delivery the raw to local supplier for machining/ mixing process.
• To arrange shipment from/ to supplier for oversea supplier (including prepare commercial invoice, packing list and label).
• To liaise/ ensure supplier is track on their committed delivery date.
• To update Master planner/ production planing control on material status.
• To initiate meeting and take responsiblilty to manage inventory stock plan monthly with report.
• To support production administrative work by compile Invoices, DO/ Custom Permit with complete chop and submit to account for payment used
• To support and involve in continue improvement program.
• To provide support in any company ad hoc activity

Main requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as Procurement Coordinator in oil and gas projects.
• Experience in EPC projects
• Fluent in English

Working Place: Jurong Island

Working Hours: 60 per week

Working days: Mon-Fri 9am to 6.30pm
Salary: $2800 - $4000

Job Duties:

• Procurement, sourcing and purchase of vessels’ spare parts, supplies and services including preparation of relevant purchase orders and job orders to ensure proper supply for vessels.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order for Superintendents to review and determine the best offer among potential suppliers.
• Verify suppliers’ invoices against quotations and keeping track of vessels’ total expenditure against approved budgets. Verifies item received with items ordered; liaise and resolve with suppliers for mismatch item
• Monitor vessels’ movements, liaising with suppliers, masters and agents to ensure that supplies are delivered on board timely.
• Responsible for accurate record keeping, follow-up and filing of all stores and spares purchased for vessels.
• Actively follow up on vessels’ defect reports, arrangement of third party service vendors and docking issues etc.
• Coordinate closely with Technical Superintendent and shipboard officers.
• Co-ordinate with vessels on various technical matters as instructed by the Superintendents.
• Maintain and update vessels’ technical certificates and arrangement of renewals whenever required.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Technical Superintendents and or Technical Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma holders with 2-3 years of purchasing experience preferably in Shipping industry
• Familiar with vessel records and certificates is added advantage
