Requirements:

Degree in Purchasing/ Logistics/ Materials Management/ Procurement or International Supply Chain Management or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing and/or logistics function in manufacturing industry/environment; Knowledge of ISO9000, IATF16949, ISO14001 and ISO45001 preferred.

Experience in using ERP software (Movex) and implement kaizen will be added advantage.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the purchasing, warehousing and transportation functions of the company.

To lead a team of officers and operational staff in handling daily purchasing operation to ensure that customer delivery schedules are met so as to provide customer satisfaction.

Responsible for customer audit and complaint relating to purchasing operation.

Oversee the MRP fulfilment, stock replenishment, purchasing and order management, suppliers’ contract and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) management.

Effectively and continuously explore initiatives and implement programs to improve quality, productivity, cost effectiveness and process improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In charge of a small team that oversee inventory and stock management according to company guidelines
• Perform stock counts and maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers
• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
• Ensure timely order fulfilment
• Procure inventory
• Procure retail supplies
• Manage inventory locations, racks and secure space for incoming inventories
• Optimize and utilize warehouse space
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness
• Recruit part-time inventory executives to help with the above

Requirements

• Minimum diploma in relevant qualifications
• Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in retail
• Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
• Familiarity with POS machine
• Physical ability to lift items
• Able to work in a team

• Our retail brand is Otaku House and we sell anime related products, so knowledge in the products are beneficial but not compusory.
• In charge of a small team of 1 to 3 part-timers to achieve the above requirements
