Main objective of the position

In this role, the POSM Procurement Specialist will be part of a vibrant LVMH Fragrances & Cosmetics Singapore Logistics Team who is responsible for the success of the downstream supply chain. In this role, she/he will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in the on-the-ground operations critical to order fulfilment and be given the responsibility to tackle dynamic POSM procurement issues that would elevate critical and creative thinking.

Internally, the POSM Procurement Specialist works closely with HQ Purchasing & Procurement teams based in France, Supply Planners, Customer Service, Inventory and Logistics teams based in Singapore to consolidate information, coordinate, and align actions, challenge the different parties, and raise alerts whenever necessary. She/He reports to the Product Configuration Assistant Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Be responsible for the sourcing, procurement, integration of the new articles in our system and stock management to ensure product availability

• Set up and update master data required for production in our ERP
• Follow the process of new product launch with HQ
• Launch and track orders according to agreed lead time with our Asians suppliers.

New Vendors & Article Code Creation

• To obtain documentation e.g Supplier Evaluation, Bizfile (applicable for Food and Non-Food supplier) for new Vendor Creation for Director of Finance and Business Support and Purchasing Manager’s approval, and Supplier Questionnaire (applicable for Food & Beverage’s supplier only) and approved by Director of Food Safety, Executive Chef, EAM F&B, and Purchasing Manager.
• To raise new Supplier Creation Form / Supplier Date Change Form for Director of Finance and Support approval.
• To raise new Article Code Creation Form / Article Amendment Form for Purchasing Manager approval.
• Creation of Article Codes/Price Codes and Vendors details are updated accordingly in the system

Others

• Carries out any other duties as required by the Director of Finance & Business Support or Purchasing Manager.
• Monitors all contract expiration dates and update the main data file.
• Handles RFQ and RFP exercises for all categories of Supplies including Capex, General Supplies and Services purchaes.
• Performs any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
