Job Summary:

The Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to receiving, storing and distributing goods within the warehouse. The Warehouse Assistant works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and the merchandising team to maintain inventory accuracy, fulfil orders and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Fulfilment

· Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to pick lists.

· Scan and upload outgoing inventory before delivery.

2. Inventory Management

· Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

· Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or shortages to supervisors.

· Assist in maintaining inventory records using warehouse management system.

3. General Warehouse Duties

· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse facility.

· Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.

· Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.

4. Working Hour

Every Mon. Wed. and Fri. 8.30am to 5.30pm(Except PH)

Qualifications:

1. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.

2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

3. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks requiring repetitive motions.

4. A good team player.

5. Willingness to always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage delivery of laboratory supplies (consumables, chemicals, reagents) from suppliers to customer stockrooms and points-of-use
• Perform goods receipt in ERP systems upon receiving supplies

• Keeping planning system master data up to date and initiate Engineering Change request based on material life cycle.
• Manage procurement and repair activities including setting up repair supply chain , execute, expedite the repair purchase orders, streamlining repair cycle, working with supplier manager to ensure supply plans meets requirements. Resolve shipping and receiving issue , invoice variance , payment isuse and manage purchase orders reconciliation with the suppliers.
• Responsible for key performance metrics such as backlog, fill rate, inventory turn, purchase orders price variance and past due delivery management.
• Analyze forecasted demand, inventory, develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demands.
• Analyze and resolve product backlogs, fill rates on a daily basis. Identify problem areas, and drive appropriate functional groups to correct.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancement and work with key business stakeholders and IT to implement continuous system improvements.

Must Have Skills & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degrees
• 3-5 years of experience as a Buyer Planner or in a similar procurement role.
• BPO experience . Experience required in Procurement domain (Buyer Experience)
• Mandatory to have "Demand Planning & Forecasting" skill

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To provide transportation service for company staff from designated pick-up points to workplace and vice versa.
• To provide transport services to company guests, directors, principals, etc. as and when assigned.
• Handle and manage timely delivery of scheduled items/goods to customers.
• Ensure the maintenance of company vehicle, to be in good working conditions
• Responsible to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the company vehicle
• Carry out spare parts order processes.
• Picking and binning of spare parts & proper storage of engines / machines.
• Ensure and check the quality of all incoming engines, spare parts, alternators, components received from vendors with the proper documentation for GRN purposes.
• Report defects, shortages, discrepancies to superior and submit the necessary warranty claim process accordingly.
• Ensure the correctness of quantity and quality of all outgoing orders.
• Ensure parts orders are processed correctly in a timely manner.
• Tracking of sales order, parts movement and update sales personnel on backlogs and/or addressing expired sales orders.
• Carry out the process of returned goods from customers and submit the returned goods form for further corrective actions.
• Ensure and maintain the warehouse cleanliness at all times.
• Report to superior on the security aspect of the warehouse including but not limited to parts storage, fire hazards, and personnel safety.
• Carry out regular cycle count and annual stock taking activities.
• Work together with superior to plan inventory for spare parts stock level, and make recommendation for parts obsolescence program, provision and write off.
• Ensure and carry out duties with proper PPE, personal behaviour, workplace safety, work performances, and individual cleanliness.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required by the Management

REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess Class 3 /4 driving licenses and forklift operator licenses.
