Job requirements

- with 3 – 5 years’ experience as a warehouse supervisor under any global Logistic Service Provider

- Required to have forklift license and able to drive forklift and reach truck

- Able to speak, read and write English for drafting operational reports

- Basic PC skills and experience to handle warehouse management systems

- Experienced to handle staff members of 20 headcounts

- Required to work days and required to perform overtime as requested

- Prior experience in managing medical related products would be added advantage

Duties and responsibilities:

· Source, negotiate, and select vendors that meet the company’s quality, price, and delivery requirements.

· Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers.

· Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.

· Review and analyze purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.

· Generate purchase orders for outsourcing jobs and non-inventory purchase.

· Analyze and monitor inventory levels and customers demand when making any purchase.

· Ensure timely delivery of items and follow up with vendors on late orders.

· Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.

· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

· Prepare reports on purchase activity and supplier performance.

· Run job fulfillment and release to store for next action of activity.

· Monitor, observe and expediting the components availabilities for job fulfillment.

· Work closely with interest parties, between Operations & Sales Departments on job/customer order fulfillment.

· Handle ad hoc & other tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirement:

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

· Strong knowledge of purchasing and planning principles and procedures

· Some knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).

· Some knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an advantage.

· Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Handle daily warehouse duties like receiving, put-away and kitting.
• Checking of received goods and ensuring they are of accurate quantity and acceptable quality and type.
• Put away received parts to their respective locations.
• Kitting of parts to production
• Managing defective materials
• Un-crating of products or parts from suppliers / customers
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
• Report any discrepancies to superiors.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers and able to work as a Team.
• Able to drive reach trucks (not mandatory, but willing to learn)
• Any other duties assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE “O” Level
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Possession of Forklift license will be a bonus.
