Key Responsibilities

• Receive and log supplier deliveries.
• Store items (raw materials & finished goods) correctly with detailed labels and paperwork.
• Refill production materials as needed.
• Packing and booking of finished products from production.
• Schedule shipments with the sales team.
• Take part in inventory counts to keep track of stock.
• Report any issues with deliveries to the team leader.
• Keep workspace tidy following the 5S method.
• Carry out additional tasks as directed.

Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC which is a leader in specialty chemicals, is renowned for its expertise in surface treatment and metalworking. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Procurement Executive to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end Source to Contract process for direct and indirect materials and services.
• Coordinate the qualification of new vendors and ensure compliance with vendor/corporate requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships and address any issues with goods delivery.
• Maintain and update the approved vendor list, and contribute to vendor performance evaluations.
• Facilitate the evaluation and substitution of raw materials, and support supplier audits as required.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting (cost savings and procurement related).
• Support continuous improvement and other initiatives, eg: digitalization, process improvement, operational efficiency.
• Any other ad hoc duties when delegated.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Business / Supply Chain management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience
• Familiar with SAP / ERP is a bonus
• Experience with Supplier Management (Performance review)
