Job Description:

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will handle a variety of tasks essential to smooth warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and dispatching stock. This role requires attention to detail, commitment to safety, and strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and organize incoming stock efficiently.
• Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Maintain detailed inventory records and assist with audits as required.
• Inspect goods for any defects or damages before dispatch.
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.

4) Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Possession of a valid forklift license.

5) Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to $2,300 basic + variable bonus + overtime + AWS.
• Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 5:45 pm, with one Saturday per month from 8:45 am to 12:45 pm.
• Location: 35 Tuas View Crescent, Singapore 637608.
• Shuttle Bus Service: Pickup at Boon Lay MRT station at 8:10 am or 8:20 am, drop-off at Boon Lay MRT station or Tuas MRT station.
• Safety Gear: Personal safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Check and verifies all goods/merchandises are received in good condition and quality, also ensuring that the quantity of goods/merchandises received are in accordance with Purchase Orders, match unit price vs the specification accordance against the Purchase Order.
• Ensure that all goods/merchandises received or rejected goods/merchandises are properly documented and accounted for.
• Ensure daily posting of all invoices and store requisitions into the Purchasing System (SCM) System and submit to cost controller for verification
• Account for any discrepancies in the physical inventories and advises Cost Controller of any material differences
• Implement proper control in maintain security of all storage area- (Key Control Movement & After office HRs Issue)
• Review inventory levels of all goods/merchandises to ensure that the minimum stock level of all goods are sustained at all times
• Daily replenishment of goods/merchandises at the Main Store with approval from Financial Controller and General Manager
• Follow up on any outstanding orders for goods/merchandises that have not been received. Must be informed the Purchasing Manager and HODs concerned of such outstanding balance.
• Co-ordinate closely with the chefs and all departments regarding stock requirements.
• Must check all petty cash product before acknowledge. (Initials in the invoice)
• Assist Cost Officer during the store inventories period.
• Performs any other duties as assigned from Financial Controller/Cost Controller

Job Tasks:
1. Create a Purchase Order
2. Keep track of orders to ensure timely delivery
3. Coordinate with internal divisions to ensure the quantity and quality of received items
4. Verify vendor’s invoice with purchase order and delivery order
5. Discuss product quality concerns and any other inconsistencies with suppliers.
6. Monitor warehouse stock inventory level to ensure sufficient stock available
7. Maintain updated records of suppliers, goods, costs, and lead times.
8. Communicate with suppliers on documentation like (MSDS, product spec, etc.)
9. Conduct a weekly inventory check
10. Participate in the Annual Stocktake
