Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing and Admin Executive at Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd. The incumbent responsible for tasks related to procurement, supplier management, general administration, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the company.

1. Perform daily purchasing duties in SAP system

2. Responsible in sourcing of operation consumables and materials

3. Responsible in sourcing of suppliers, ask for quotations and negotiate price

4. Attend to requestors’ enquiries and understand their purchasing needs

5. Issue purchase order and make delivery arrangements

6. Liaise with finance department on payment arrangement

7. Perform general office administrative duties including scanning, filing, photocopying of documents

Requirements:

1. Diploma in any discipline

2. 1 year relevant experience

3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel

This is a contract role (12 months) for a Warehouse Assistant located in Pioneer. Our client is Freight forwarding service in Singapore, you will be taking the responsible on for managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations from receiving to dispatch. This includes tasks like checking and storing inbound items, picking and packing outbound orders, and preparing cargo for shipment. They also handle value-added services such as repacking, cleaning, and performing minor maintenance on spare parts. Inventory management is a key part of the role, involving regular cycle counts, stock assessments, and minor rework on pallets or products as needed. Additionally, they ensure all documentation and processes comply with the company’s internal controls and standard operating procedures. Qualifications:

• Possess a Forklift License.

Job Description:

• Manage the procurement activities of direct materials, including review and convert Purchasing. Requisition (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO); resolve invoice, or quality related discrepancies.
• Sending requirements to suppliers : Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for information (RFI) using digital tools.
• Purchase price analysis and price negotiations; Identification and realization of savings potentials,
• Close cooperation with the stake holders and suppliers.
• Supplier management including supplier set up, supplier evaluation and development.
• Optimization of existing supply chain processes and participation in project teams.
• Leverage existing procurement processes and compliance while seeking to identify best management practices. Using a continual improvement mindset to create efficient processes.

We are looking for:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Economy or similar areas,
• +4 years professional experience in a similar position,
• Knowledge of Procurement / Supply Chain activities with a broad solid understanding of operational, activities across a range of businesses.
• Previous experience of working in Supply Chain Management
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Strong communication and negotiation skills;
