Our client is one of the leading players in the F&B Distribution Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Procurement Executive to be part of their Procurement team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

The Responsible of Procurement Executive is:

• Collaborate with sales/customer service to understand their requirements and gather information for supplier quotations.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Source and negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers from both local and overseas, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of incoming shipments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Prepare quotation for our Tender Customers.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in related industry (F&B/ FMCG)
• Minimum diploma and above

Job Description

• Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, spare parts, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
• Review purchase requisitions and assure requisitions are properly approved.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.

Job description

The role is to be responsible for materials and parts purchasing as according to direction from the engineers and follow up to ensure the timely availability of all parts needed to assemble the company’s products and services. It will also include the store keeper’s role to keep track of purchased materials and their safekeeping until it is released to the factory floor correctly.


Responsibilities:

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

• Sourcing for RFQ
• Negotiation with suppliers for competitive price, quality and delivery schedule
• Prepare purchase orders, coordinate and ensure timely deliveries to support operation needs
• Knowledge of MYOB, SAP, ERP will be an advantage
• Suppliers’ sourcing and evaluation
• Monthly purchasing and Costing Report
• Support project engineers from start to completion of a project working together with other team members to ensure timely and successful manufacturing of company’s products
• Shipping and accounting knowledge will be advantageous
• Good standard of documentation control
• Control warehouse inventory and prepare stock report on monthly basis
• Able to multitask & handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
  
  Relevant Working Experience
• O’ level / NTC or Diploma in engineering probably in Mechanical or Electrical / Electronics
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management, Clerical/Administrative Support or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Priority will be given to those with experience in Oracle ERP systems
• Strong communication skills with good command in English and Chinese Mandarin to liaise with internal and external parties
