Responsibilities:

• Design and document IT and OT systems for shipboard networks.
• Coordinate and manage IT and OT projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide remote and on-site support for IT and OT systems.
• Analyze and resolve IT/OT system design and implementation issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT and OT systems.
• Contribute to the implementation of IT/OT governance procedures, including:

1. Reviewing OT system designs for new vessels:
2. Evaluating and assessing new OT systems
3. Participating in system integration and user acceptance testing
4. Reviewing VLAN and firewall configurations with vendors and manufacturers
5. Supporting the implementation of cybersecurity projects across vessels
   

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in maritime IT, including shipboard systems (engine automation, navigation, trim/fuel/route optimization, cybersecurity, incident handling)
• Strong knowledge of network design and troubleshooting for marine environments
• Occasional travel for on-site surveys and troubleshooting
• Tertiary qualification in IT networking or Marine Engineering
• Professional certifications (CCNP, NSE 6.0 or higher) preferred
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Job Description:

• Response to service calls within customer's stipulated service response time

• Attend to service and repair works on site

• Test, install and commission equipment at customer's premise

• Sufficient knowledge about Company’s product to handle customer queries

• Contribute to product improvement and localization of the Company

• Inspect and test equipment, accessories and consumables

• Provide technical presentation and conduct technical trainings (if required)

• Submit weekly technical activities reports or other reports

• Support activities like technical services, exhibitions, customer visits, etc.

• Assistant the Project Manager in overseeing the project, planning and ensure work is carry out according to master program
• Liaise with the consultant on technical issue and doing coordination on site issues with sub con
• Work with project team and ability to resolve technical issues
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in building projects.

Role:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with Marine Boilers.
• Carry out repairs on inboard and outboard marine boilers.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure all shipboard systems are functioning properly.
• Travel domestically and internationally to service jobs on board vessels.
• Maintain cleanliness of the ship and engine room while onboard.
• Provide detailed reports on work performed and communicate the nature of repairs and services to customers.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to marine services and repairs.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Keep accurate records of all services performed, including time spent, parts used, and labor involved.
• Use service management software to log and track repairs and maintenance tasks.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other technicians and service team members to ensure efficient workflow and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in marine mechanics or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marine service and repair for boilers.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to solve problems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and marine service equipment.
• Knowledge of marine engines, auxiliary engines, and cargo pumps.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects, working in various weather conditions, and performing physically demanding tasks.
