EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

a) Tertiary education in Computer/Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent

b) AWS certifications such Developer (Associate) Certification, AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate), AWS Solution Architect (Associate/Professional), AWS DevOps Engineer (Professional) is preferred

c) Knowledge of serverless architectures

d) Familiarity with various coding languages, such as Python, Java etc.

Job Scope:

• To carry out full-time site supervision as Resident Engineer as required under the Building Control Act & Regulations
• Contract period is 31 month to cover the construction of an mega warehouse development at Tuas Terminal
• Design & Build contract. Contract start date: Tentatively mid-Feb 2024
• Only 1 RE position to be filled

Remunerations:

• In addition to monthly salary, AWS will be provided upon 12th month & 24th month of service
• 3 months of gratuity will be provided upon completion of project.
• Overtime allowance povided but capped at a reasonable limit. Details to be discussed

Job Requirements:

• With valid RE certificate issued by IES

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementation, planining on-premises environment to public cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Oracle
• Managing Kubernetes pod rotation, Scaling of Kubernetes deployments, Kubernetes labels and namespaces.
• Monitoring the Application Infra related Incidents/alerts from the multiple monitoring tools like Tivoli, Sensu, Onecheck

Job Description & Requirements

1. Prepare and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts and other visual aids.

2. Coordinate with various Government agencies and utility authorities for initial site clearance and set up site office

3. Report on daily issues to Project Manager / Construction Manager

4. Plan, schedule and monitor work progress at site

5. Continuously ensure adherence to planned timeliness

6. Maintain and monitor quality controls

7. Prepare and submit all daily and weekly reports as required

8. Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented on work site

9. Prepare method statements and other submission

19. Prepare correspondence with client, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. Examples of referenced correspondence include, but not confined to the following items: Schedule of values, project schedule, memos, request for information (RFI), transmittals and submittals.

20. During Construction Phase, proactively manage project to achieve quality, schedule, budget and safety.

21. Utilize and maintain tools: schedule and document management to track and record project performance.

22. Planning work to ensure that materials, machineries, authorities’ approval and sites condition are ready before the work starts.

23. Coordinating with authorities, clients to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignment
