ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

In anticipation of future bids and projects in Defence and Public Security sectors, Engineering Department requires system engineers who has a track record of building, deploying and maintaining the IT infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Domain knowledge in enterprise data networks and/or cybersecurity is desirable.

The System Engineer is to assist with IT infrastructure solutions according to project requirements and drive transformation for internal/external customers by adopting established platforms. Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Robotics simulation and reinforcement learning has been advancing a lot making it 1000x cheaper to train robots compared to 5 years ago, and as Jensen Huang said at Nvidia GTC 2024, "the ChatGPT moment for robotics may be just around the corner." • Familiar with programming micro controllers like Arduino or Raspberry pi.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile, and experience working in Agile environments, version control systems, software test frameworks, and software testing techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Able to work under tight deadlines and respond to changing business and technical conditions.

Special Requirements

• Experience in integrating functions like motion systems, VR technology, and other interactive elements into a final product.
• Experience with electrical or mechanical engineering.
