A reliable Engineer of Quality Assurance to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. She will be responsible for inspecting procedures, outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues.

An excellent Engineer with industry proficiency in 2D/ 3D dimensional inspection, Knowledge of geometric measurements and CMM. She is equipped with rich experience, quality control background with eagle eyes and if obtained a certification of ISO 13485/ 9001 Quality Management Systems Internal Auditor added an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Conduct the training of ISO 9001:2015/ 13485:2016 for work procedures to operation and production

2. In-house training to guide inspectors, technicians and other staff for engineering symbol & geometric dimensioning & tolerance drawing quality specification

3. Supervise equipment and tools are duly calibrated

4. Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues

5. Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output quality of finished parts/ components and materials

6. Monitor all operations that affect quality

7. Report all malfunctions to production manager to ensure immediate action

8. Implement corrective action (CAR) / non-conforming report to operations effectively

9. Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data

7. Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation

8. Review current standards and policies, work procedure (SOP), and update written procedures (DCN), engineering work instructions or specifications (ECN)

9. Work as a team to evaluate, validate customer quality issues and complaints, or/ and special quality requirements from customers for quality assurance on geometric symbol, tolerance and dimensioning

10. Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections

11. Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied

12. 5.5-day work week

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a strong advantage

• Act as Package Engineer for safety and fire fighting, life-saving equipment
• Manage and guide team Engineers and Designers
• Provide health and environmental inputs (including health risk assessments such as chemical exposure, noise and lighting, ergonomics/Human Factors Engineering, environmental impact assessments, etc.) to projects
• Interface/coordinate with other Engineering disciplines and clients, and take the lead in resolving technical matters related to safety aspects
• Able to deliver project safety deliverables as per project schedule
• Provide inputs and support to projects in all safety aspects, including progress reports

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
• Minimum of 12 years of HSE engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry, in process safety/technical safety, and preferably worked 1-3 years in a Lead position on similar projects
• Involved in design projects for offshore (FPSO/Platforms) and onshore (Refineries, LNG facilities, Storage terminals, etc.)
• Should have worked on a minimum number of offshore projects (FPSO/Platforms)
• Possess good knowledge of Oil and Gas process facilities, local and international process safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, EI15, etc.) and regulatory/marine codes and standards (MODU, SOLAS, DNV/ABS/Lloyds Register)
• Should have hands-on experience in plot plan review, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification/verification, and other safety reviews (e.g., SIMOPS, ALARP)
• Good working knowledge of PIPENET Vision, Flaresim, and other consequence modeling software such as DNV PHAST, etc., is needed
• Ability to influence designs to achieve optimal HSE outcomes
• A team player with leadership potential and proactive inter-discipline communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, maintain, and repair projection equipment for events and live productions
• Set up and operate video systems, such as video broadcast equipment and recording devices, install and configure specific systems
• Assist in permanent installation of items such as LED walls, large projectors, video feeds or computer networking systems and maintain inventory and storage of video equipment
• Organize and maintain compliance, license, and warranty information related to video equipment

The Site Engineer (Civil) is responsible for assisting the Deputy Project Manager/Project Manager on the progress of site works and manpower related aspects of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.
• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
