JD QA Executive – 1 year Contract
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Product Quality Management
a. Conduct product cuttings on core ingredients as per Brand Standards requirement to ensure product quality.
a. Assist the team in conducting product test of alternative ingredients/packaging material on our recipe/processes.
b. Assist in conducting sensory evaluation on alternative core ingredients.
2. Restaurant Quality Management
a. Conduct restaurant food safety compliance check on critical restaurant stores as well as support for restaurant food safety audit program.
b. Investigate and troubleshoot all matters relating to product quality and food safety in the restaurant and follow up with suppliers for any corrective action.
c. Conduct training to restaurant team members in relating to product quality and food hygiene.
d. Work closely with operations team to finalise SOPs.
3. Any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities assigned by Reporting manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirement
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or similar relevant equivalent
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Good proficiency in written and spoken English and Mother Tongue language
- Good knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft office – Words, Excel, PowerPoint
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of HACCP and/or GFSI food safety standards will be added advantage
- Have food safety auditing experience in F&B industry
- Possess a positive attitude and learning mindset
- Minimum 1 years of experience in relevant food related industry
