He is to use his knowledge of solar technology, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering to ensure that solar systems are working safely and efficiently.

Solar engineers may work in a variety of areas, including:

• Maintenance: Maintain solar systems
• Project development: Assess solar panel installations, review energy audits, and prepare specifications and configurations for solar energy solutions
• Installation: Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any problems that may arise with solar systems
• Technical support: Provide technical support to clients and other professionals in the field

Roles & Responsibilities

The responsibility of this position is to lead the project assigned to successful completion within the project schedule & scope as well as obtain the targeted profit and achieve high customer satisfaction.

The incumbent shall carry out the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Resolve complex issues with clients & consultants, JV partners, and/or sub-contractors which are not able to be handled by subordinates.
• Direct project team members to achieve targets of safety, quality, profit and timely completion of the project. To monitor the progress of the project according to the targets set.
• Identify key staff to lead the project and delegate responsibilities. Provide guidance and direction to staff for them to work towards the targets set.
• Personnel management and development.
• Oversee the tender works including providing directions on planning, construction technique, quality of tender submission documents, risk and issue management, tender price negotiation with suppliers and subcons for finalization.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree majored in Civil Engineering recognised
• Minimum 6 years of local experience in construction industry
• Experience in Road Works / Building Works Project will be preferred
• Proven working experience in project management
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Independent and organised with positive work attitude
• Possess strong written
• Good decision maker and team player
• Auto Cad designing
• Class 4 with Forklift licence

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure performance complies with specications, technical clarications, and drawings.
• To guide and supervise on works arrangement and site activity.
• To check all installation drawings and prepare relevant schedule.
• Monitor the daily progress of activities and prepare daily report of the status of each assignment.
• Managing project budgets. Able to work on weekend/public holiday.
• Able to work regularly under rooftop.
• Able to use Microsoft suite of Software including project.
• Prociency in AutoCAD is preferred.
• Good organizational skills and communication skills. Good technical competency.
• Carry out the electrical cabling works, tray & trunking works with installation.
• Experience in integration of the sites.
• Minimum Certicate requirement in Safety Supervisor.
• Candidates with a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or above Minimum 3 years working experience on related sites
