A day in the life:

RBE Manager, SEA markets will be responsible for planning and executing the retail product presentation and storytelling experience across Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia to deliver consistent in-store / omni guest experience. • Establishing, communicating, deploying and maintaining of Company’s Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Environmental related policies and procedures; including the preparation and maintenance of relevant supporting documents, and the provision of training as required.
• Ensuring the companies compliance with relevant flag state/ class approvals/ IMCA, ISO 9001/14001/45000 QMS and Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements through formal/informal and internal/external audits and leading the Audit Program.
• Implementing, maintaining, reviewing of Company’s Safety Management System work manuals and procedures, including maintenance of HSSQE related certifications and local regulatory requirements.
• Plan, organize and take lead to drive safety initiatives and promote safety culture within the company and sub-contractors.
• Take lead to conduct vessel safety audits/ inspections to ensure compliance to legal legislations and organizational requirements. Ensure all appropriate investigation of discrepancies, error, complaints, failure, or findings are properly closed, documented, and communicated.
• Lead the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) for quarterly meeting and Management Review (MR) annually. Submit the reports for SM & MD’s review and comments.
• To prepare and supervise the programme of Internal & External Audits within the office and for the fleet. Monitoring the timely implementation of all drills and audits of the Company and the managed vessels and ensuring the audit results are reported to the SM & MD.
• Lead the incident investigation team and prepare concise investigation reports in accordance to the regulatory and industry requirement.
• Develop effective communication materials and collaterals (include but not limited to safety messages, advisories, campaigns, posters, etc.) for fleet outreach and learning.
• Ensure proper maintenance of policies and procedures for office facilities.
• Supporting the Crewing, Vessel Operations, Technical, and Insurance departments in safety related matters, including interface with clients, underwriters, industry organizations and regulatory authorities.
• Lead the Emergency Response Team and conduct annual office/ship drills.

• Ensure effective close out of all non-conformances, observations and deficiencies resulting from SIRE inspections.
• Reporting to the SM and CST Management periodically on the vessels’ vetting status, planning and progress including any on-going issues if in case of any difficulties encountered that may cause rejection by either Charterers or the Pool partners operating the respective vessels
• Leads the communication with major oil companies on a regular basis checking Company’s MR ratings and approvals.
• To maintain and update quarterly KPI on vetting and tracking of vessels’ performance versus set targets until the final Management Review on overall vetting performance.
• Keep the ship owners updated with fleet vetting plan and status periodically as required by the owners.
• Ensure vessel screening requirements from major oil companies (MOC) and charterers are attended on timely manner for vessel to be approved for business.
• To carry out pre-vetting exercise for the fleet and to attend SIRE inspections with the appointed inspector.
• To update and share with the fleet on SIRE findings to prevent recurrence.
• Manage all aspect of commercial operations to ensure safe delivery of cargo and services. Lead and provide suitable strategic direction in commercial operations to complement and support Charterer/Owner’s business objectives and strategy.

Authority

• Amend, delete or introduce procedures in the Company’s Safety Management System as recommended by the QAC and approved by the Managing Director and/or General Manager.
• Schedule QAC meetings; discuss Internal and External Audit findings, Management and Master Review reports, and non-conformities in Safety and Pollution Prevention Practices/Trainings/Drills, Accidents reports and Quality Management Reports.
• Propose amendments, revisions to the Safety Management System to prevent recurrence of detected nonconformities to the systems and/or procedures.
• To prepare the plans and instructions for the key shipboard operations and assigning them to the qualified personnel.
• Collect reports of suggestions/complaints from customers, suppliers, vessels, etc. and formulates continuous improvement programmes to the Safety Management System.

JOB SUMMARY

Under general direction, the Technical Sales Manager is responsible for managing the technical sales aspects including segment, product line & technology packages, and all relevant technical supporting activities throughout the entire sales process. Successful activities include: collaborating within the sales organization on new customer opportunities, building strong customer relationships, technology training, collecting & analyzing customer/market insights to identify winning technology solutions, and supporting strategic sales growth initiatives. This is a key role within our organization advising and guiding the technical aspects of the sales process while working within a close collaboration with Global Technical Sales Managers (TSMs) to ensure alignment and leverage global insights and strategies.

• Segment and Product Line development:

• Collaborate with Global Segment Commercial Leads, Engineering, & other Technical Sales Product Managers to develop cohesive standard global product offerings.
• Develop & Manage standard product line sales tool-kits including sizing programs, sales flow diagrams, mass balances, and a library of sales presentations.
• Assist marketing collateral development on product lines and new innovations.
• Support technology discussions to close the deal in an efficient and professional manner.
• Deliver against sales goals by supporting Sales, Sales Support, & Aftermarket team members.
• Cross functional & global collaboration. Key technical tag for Aftermarket commercial support connecting inquiries into Sales & Engineering as needed.
• Deep understanding of technology/service value and total cost of ownership, TCO.
• Support new innovation launches with technical support & training.
• Contribute to all customer field reports after each customer visits.

• Develop testing protocols for customer piloting work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, or mechanical engineering.

• Master’s degree preferred.

• 5+ years Engineering or Operations experience within the Oilseeds complex, preferably in an Oilseeds Crushing or Vegetable Oil Refining, Palm Processing, Biodiesel, and/or Oleochemical business.
