Main duties and responsibilities

1. Product Quality Management

a. Conduct product cuttings on core ingredients as per Brand Standards requirement to ensure product quality.

a. Assist the team in conducting product test of alternative ingredients/packaging material on our recipe/processes.

b. Assist in conducting sensory evaluation on alternative core ingredients.

2. Restaurant Quality Management

a. Conduct restaurant food safety compliance check on critical restaurant stores as well as support for restaurant food safety audit program.

b. Investigate and troubleshoot all matters relating to product quality and food safety in the restaurant and follow up with suppliers for any corrective action.

c. Conduct training to restaurant team members in relating to product quality and food hygiene.

d. Work closely with operations team to finalise SOPs.

3. Any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities assigned by Reporting manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Requirement

- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or similar relevant equivalent

- Great interpersonal and communication skills

- Good proficiency in written and spoken English and Mother Tongue language

- Good knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft office – Words, Excel, PowerPoint

- Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

- Working knowledge of HACCP and/or GFSI food safety standards will be added advantage

- Have food safety auditing experience in F&B industry

- Possess a positive attitude and learning mindset

- Minimum 1 years of experience in relevant food related industry

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day Quality Assurance activities in accordance with approved

SOPs / Policies for a multi-product, cGxP contract manufacturing facility

• A good understanding of cGxPs and compliance in a GxP manufacturing

• Revise, review and approve SOPs, protocols, reports or records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Science or technical field

13. Perform incoming material testing, i.e. soy bean, packaging material, and material COA review.

14. Prepare chemical solution for production use.

15. Perform swab test to verify the cleaning condition of equipment and worker’s hygiene.

Requirement:

1. Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology or equivalent.

2. Experience in QA/QC in relevant food industry is added advantage. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply

Job Purpose

• Partnering with site GMP operations and validation team in solving complex problems to ensure quality, safety, reliability, efficiencies and manage multiple quality systems including, but not limited to change controls, validation, deviations, laboratory investigations and CAPAs.
• Assist in the daily operations for Batch Record Review, Batch Disposition/ Release, complex deviations and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure the compliance of qualification and validation with applicable regulatory requirements and company quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Daily routine GMP documentation review activities (e.g. Batch record review and cleaning records of manufactured batches) of active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediates in a timely manner by ensuring all the quality aspects of the batches are fulfilled according to GMP requirement.
