• Optimize Shopee Ads core advertising strategies, such as traffic selection, smart bidding, ranking strategies and auction mechanisms.
• Provide solutions to long-term challenges like cold start, stability, and ecosystem development for the platform.
• Participate in the development and iteration of Ads algorithms by using Machine Learning.
• Enhance the efficiency of automated delivery products, combining intelligent product selection with full-chain optimisation to improve ads performance.
• Deeply understand buyer and seller demands to create incentive-compatible, mutually beneficial advertising strategies and products.
• Continuously improve the monetisation efficiency and user experience of Shopee’s advertising products, increase monetisation efficiency and driving the healthy, sustainable development of Shopee advertising

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in algorithm-related roles
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, computational advertising, pattern recognition, data mining, or artificial intelligence.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative team spirit, and a product-focused, data-driven mindset.

Our SRE engineers combine software and systems engineering disciplines to run high-performance, large-scale distributed infrastructure. Qualifications
