You will be part of the Infrastructure Team responsible for managing CGS-CIMB network infrastructure to ensure high standards of performance as well as security and availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing 24/7 on-call and office, hours on-site administration and operational support for all network equipment
• Ensuring all network support services are delivered within service level agreements
• Responsible for network design and implementation
• Managing of Cisco router, Arista wireless controller, firewalls, VPN gateways, proxy servers
• Configuration of cloud network services, network, application load balancers, VPC, provisioning, transit gateway attachment
• Perform system hardening and patch deployment
• Work on network related budget and workplan
• Management of network related contracts
• Explore new technology that could improve the workflow
• Automation of the network work process to enhance operation efficiency
• Good knowledge of troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution, debugging network-related problem
• Ability to self-manage projects and provide timely update on progress
• Understand latest network/security threats and issues and mitigation solutions
• Work on any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the management

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in any IT related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations
• Proficient with products from Arista, Fortinet, Juniper, and Palo Alto
• Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP routing protocol, IPSEC VPN and TCP/IP Networking
• Certification in CCNA is a must and CCNP is preferred

Job Description

As a Senior/ Infrastructure Engineer, you will assume the responsibility of conceptualising and crafting cloud and infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration into diverse on-premise or SaaS environments. Leveraging comprehensive expertise across vertical and horizontal technologies, your focus will be on refining, fortifying, and providing solutions to our clients. This entails overseeing the holistic technical design, encompassing infrastructure elements, integration, connectivity, and hosting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Managing the project lifecycle of infrastructure setup and implementation for our clients.

• Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions, incorporating multi/hybrid cloud design principles.

• Continuously researching and evaluating new solutions and technologies, integrating insights and recommendations into the development process.

• Demonstrating expertise in the products and solutions of major Cloud Service Providers.

• Specialising in best practices for the design, operations, and support of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure, covering Network, Storage, Compute, and Security.

• Identifying potential and emerging technologies with relevance to innovation for the company.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 4 years experience in the design, implementation, and consulting of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Hands-on experience and robust technical skills with a proven track record in IT infrastructure and/or emerging IT technologies engineering, specifically in Platform, Storage, Virtualisation, and Cloud infrastructure.

• Strong working knowledge and the ability to apply architecture concepts, frameworks, and methodologies to projects.

• Experience in business and technical analysis, architecture design, and project

• Possession of PMP and ITIL certifications is considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and maintaining the entire DevOps pipelines.

• Coordinate with the stakeholders from requirements gathering until successful implementation DevOps pipeline on boarding.

• As a Site Reliability Engineer should engages in and improves the full lifecycle of cloud platform solutions from design, deployment, operation and refinement with accuracy and in compliance with organization policies and security requirements.

• Work with the vendors to setup centralized DevOps solutions considering market best practice, Industry standard and ease of support.

• Work with the vendors to upgrade the DevOps tools farm and Integrating with tools.

• Lead analysis and resolution of root cause for Test Orchestration / Environment related issues

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

• Stays current with industry trends and leads development of key DevOps, Runtime, and Operational innovation patforms.

Skills/Requirement

• Deep technical background, with hands-on experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Veracode, JIRA and Confluence). Prior technical background on different build strategies.

• Deep technical background on Kubernetes deployment process.

• Good knowledge on maintaining/deploying secrets in Kubernetes.

• Prior working experience in setting up Jira workflow.

• Prior experience is customizing JIRA and Setting up confluence spaces.

• Prior hand-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline as a centralized solution.

• Hand on experience in setting up DevOps governance, Security standards and audit requirements.

• Prior experience in setting up DevOps pipeline in internal and external could offerings.

• Experience with continuous testing, techniques and tools (Junit, Sonar Cube, Veracode etc.)

• Technical exposure of automation accomplished with advanced Python, Chef, Ruby and PowerShell

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide operational and maintenance support for Satellite Broadcast Service
• Knowledge of Satellite Transmission (i.e. Solid State Power Amplifier (SSPA)/BUC, Satellite modulator, Integrated Receiver Decoders (IRDs) or Satellite Headend (i.e. Video Encoder, Multiplexer)
• Perform equipment/system configurations, Video switching, IP routing and monitoring of Radio Frequency (RF) & Video signals for Broadcast production and operation
• Perform Satellite uplink and downlink configurations
• Perform RF equipment/system preventive and corrective maintenance
• Perform Broadcast equipment/system preventive and corrective maintenance
• Perform IP broadcast network configurations and maintenance
• Ability to understand technical issues and to provide periodic/planned preventive & corrective maintenance

• Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with at least 1 year of working experience with communication protocols including RF and TCP/IP
• Candidate without the required academic qualifications but with at least 4 years of experience are welcome to apply
• Experience in Satellite Communication or Broadcast Engineering would be added advantage
• Possess good learning attitude as extensive training will be provided to equip candidate with the necessary Broadcast Engineering knowledge and skills
