Responsibilities:

Database Administration

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for database-related services.
• Manage the daily BAU operation of database-related services.
• Carry out service monitoring, end-to-end performance correlation, and database performance optimization. Create, review and update system documentation and work instructions to enhance the efficiency of daily operations.
• Perform capacity planning to size database resources to meet the demands of application workloads.
• Plan, execute, and monitor backup schedules in accordance with business needs and data retention policies.
• Review database security, perform database hardening, and apply regular or ad-hoc security patches to ensure compliance with IT security policy.
• Coordinate/Support with application support teams to schedule database updates and upgrade databases with minimal business impact.
• Provide Level 2 support for database service-related queries.
• Perform incident escalation in accordance to escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with other functional teams in incident handling, and ensure incidents are resolved or work- around within stipulated SLAs.
• Contribute to or drive root-cause analysis.
• Ensure that all internal processes and procedures are up to date and in accordance with the company's directives.

Data Services Provisioning

• Perform requirement gathering with application support teams.
• Recommend appropriate data services and system capacity according to agreed requirements.
• Develop configuration policies to optimize security, performance, and availability.
• Set up data services according to policies and guidelines.
• Set up data pipelines for data analytics and dashboard initiatives.
• Coordinate with other functional teams to complete the work required to operationalize data services such as IP address assignment, DNS requests, firewall port opening and security scan, database onboarding, data pipeline creation, database monitoring, and database performance monitoring.
• Ongoing review and improvement of process flow, system, and processes through automation, innovation, as well as the adoption of new technologies.

Implementation of IT Initiatives and Solutions

• Provide feedback on the design of data services for new systems.
• Support execution of database services initiatives and business projects.

Requirements:

• A recognized diploma or degree in IT or related fields.
• Minimal 5 years of hands-on experience in systems and database administration in an enterprise or campus environment.
• Hand-on experience in administering MSSQL, Oracle database (10g and above), Oracle high availability technologies such as RAC and Data Guard, database performance tuning and troubleshooting, and database upgrades and migrations tools.
• Hand-on experience in data cleansing, data transformation, and data quality management.
• Hand-on experience in developing dashboards using data visualization tools e.g., Qlik Sense, Power BI and etc.
• Knowledge of MariaDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience in Windows, and Linux variants, preferably Red Hat and Ubuntu.
• Experience in capacity planning, availability management and business continuity management.
• Experience in project management.
• Independent, highly motivated and a proactive team player who can work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent in written and verbal communication.

The following certifications while not necessary, will be an added advantage:

• Database Administrator Certified Professional for MSSQL/Oracle/MySQL
• ITIL Foundation Level
• Certified Professional in Data Analytics/Data Visualization/Data Virtualization/Machine Learning
• AWS/Azure Certifications

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and implement document control activities
• Audit and assure that manufacturing processes are capable of producing products that conforms to established requirements
• Manage non-conformance issues and implement actions to prevent recurrence
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure quality issues are addressed and resolved
• Responsible for customers’ quality audits and inspections
• Prepare QA reports
• Ensure products meets customers’ requirements
• Conduct internal audits and enforce ISO Quality Management system within the organization

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Quality Assurance, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics engineering or equivalent with relevant experience
• Knowledge in ISO 9001, CP/CPK, SPC and 8D reporting will be advantageous
• Good attitude towards acquiring new knowledge
• Able to work under pressure and tight datelines

Primary Function:

• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods to create plant equipment preventive maintenance procedures.
• Support in the planning of routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults, and lead time critical equipment repairs. Implement preventive measures to improve machine reliability.
• Work with reliability engineers to improve equipment performance and extend equipment useful life cycle.
• Oversee and control maintenance costs. Manage budget for equipment upgrades and replacements.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in equipment operating concepts and maintenance techniques.
• Function as project development member to install or upgrade equipment. Schedule and obtain project material and manpower.
• Support Plant EHS and quality initiatives and targets.
• Responsible for developing budgets and long-range plans based on company growth and future maintenance needs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant equipment, wet process and dryer, dry blending and packaging, Clean In Place systems, warehouse in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures to ensure good uptime and good MTBF.
• Responsible for support the equipment qualification and validation, such as walkdown, punch list commissioning, IQ/ OQ/ PQ for any new project.
• Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
• Responsible for writing Job Aids and Maintenance SOP writing, CCA and ER investigation.
• Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance or project works.
• Responsible for Maintenance budge for area of responsibilities
• Lead and Take part in continuous improvement efforts/ projects.
• May act as delegate to the Engineering Manager when required.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace/aeronautical or related discipline
• Min 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing plant
• Prior experience with packaging processes ideal
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good team player and able to multi-tasks
• Able to react effectively to dynamic Manufacturing environment and able to work independently
