Job Descriptions

• Execute design activities with customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data.
• Evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
• Prepare and update 3D drawing and control in every issuance of drawings, in accordance with the detailing procedures and standards using AutoCAD application/ BIM Softwares.

• Programming, testing, commissioning, and handover of Electrical Systems (22KV Switch gears & transformers, protection relays, and hipot)
  Prepare and maintain all required commissioning documentation which includes client submission.
• Supervision and Monitoring of defined test procedures start-up sequences, reliability test runs, and performance tests.
• Monitoring of functional and operational tests of various equipment in order to prepare the equipment for the first start-up.
• Manage and supervise a team of experienced commissioning technicians to execute Live equipment testing in a highly professional and safe manner
  Ensure QAQC integration within commissioning processes and procedures
  Witness and provide contractor resources to support FAT as required.
• Preparation of inspection reports, certificates, progress reports, and site correspondence.
• Liaise closely with the client QAQC/Testing teams.
• Generating MSCR's (Maintenance System Change Request) at the project handover stage.
• Ensure that commissioning acceptance criteria is aligned with design specification and client requirements.
• Any other duties required by the Commissioning Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

To ensure the smooth operation of site activities

To provide logistical support (site utilisation) when needed, as requested by sub-contractors

To be the liaison for the coordination of different trades within the same discipline

Responsible for all on-site engineering issues pertaining to site matters

To coordinate with sub-contractors and attend to clients' queries to ensure timely work arrangements

To be involved in the day-to-day management of site supervision of construction activity to ensure site works are carried out as per schedule and the local authorities’ quality standard

To manage project documentation and maintain accurate records

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Design/Structural/Architectural/Civil Engineering/Building Construction or any equivalent qualification

Experience / Knowledge in in Bridge Construction/ Crosshead/ Lifting Frame /Launching Gantry Operation/ Pre-cast Segment Method/ MRT/ LTA will be an added advantage

More than 3 years of site experience in the construction sector, preferably in the superstructure crosshead/ precast segmental bridge and Launching Gantry operation or similar

Good team player and able to work independently
