Duties & Responsibilities

a. Assist QA/QC Manager in the managing the QA/QC department.

b. Establish, implement and maintain the QC system for products that need to comply with ASME codes.

c. Prepare, control and maintain the QC Manual in accordance with ASME code.

d. Initiate quality programs and report to QA/QC Manager for the current product quality level.

e. Develop Inspection Test Plan (ITP), inspection and testing procedures.

f. Supervise and guide the team of QC inspectors and administrative assistant.

g. Control the usage of ASME stamps and review ASME’s MDR forms.

h. Maintain and control the welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualification records.

i. Any Adhoc assignment given by QA/QC Manager.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Conducts field inspection and verify conformance to approved specifications.
2. Conducts inspection on the installation of product such as AHU etc.
3. Prepare and review documents for project close-out requirements.
4. Conducts in-house orientation on company policies and procedures to employees in preparation for their incorporation to company.
5. Supervise the implementation of punch list (balance of works) issued by client to conform to the established client standards and specifications.
6. Prepare QC inspection reports and monthly accomplishment reports.
7. Proper checklist and progress report must be generated.
8. Conducts line checking on installed items, issue punch list and verify accomplishment prior to endorsement for testing.
9. Conducts pre-qualification of welders for pipe welding works.
10. Conducts inspection on installation of fans and blowers including pre-fabrication and initial testing.
11. Prepare inspection reports for accepted and rejected activities.
12. Conducts receiving inspection on critical materials prior to installation.
13. Attend to coordination meetings and address problems concerning installation problems.
14. Generate Non-conformance reports to activities not conforming to project specifications and monitor detailed action plans for close-out.
15. Prepare and maintain quality manual for the organization.
16. Generate work instructions, company procedures for use by the organization and submission to client.
17. Conduct and prepare analysis of generated NCRs, complaints, and audit results.
18. Arrange with third party inspectors for necessary testing.
19. Implement quality system to the project.
20. Arrange materials documentation requirements and submits to Client Inspection Department for acceptance.
21. Prepare Quality Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for submission to clients.
22. Review Mill Test Certificates. (For Production Related Works only).

37. Establish and define Standards and Procedure of development requirements for the Product.
38. Formulate, implement and review work procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency to meet quality requirements.
39. Evaluate according to ISO requirements and actively provide constructive feedback to development team.
40. Establish and maintain high quality test procedures and methods to be used in present and future software and hardware testing and development that comply with the company quality standards and deliverables.
41. Prepare the requirements for components and / or assembled parts of the incoming inspections.
42. Oversee quality tests and qualify the release of products at the manufacturing side.
43. Oversee the resolution of quality-related problems in the development and manufacturing environment resulting from supply or production imperfections.

REQUIREMENT

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering related discipline

2. At least 2 years of related work experience in quality control

3. Good office coordination skill and interpersonal skill.

• Sticker onto the Left-Hand Side of the corner post before off load.
• Surveyors must coordinate with the Leese/Lessor independent surveyor for joint inspection.
• As part of a Surveyors duties, ensure to conduct thorough inspection after the cleaning, repaired and testing completed.
• Surveyors must thoroughly inspect the Tank Containers and raised estimates after the cleaning completed.
• Surveyors must report to the supervisor on all documentation of ISO Tank containers before sending to customers
• Surveyors will conduct Pre/Post inspection, if require by Customers. (Before Repair and After Repaired)
• As a surveyors must obtain instruction from the Supervisor.
• Surveyors must inform the Side Lifter Drivers to shift the Tank Containers into the
• workshop area for repair when Customers given the approval to repair.
• Surveyors must hand over the approved estimates to the Repairer Supervisor afterthe tank containers shifted into the repair bay.
• Surveyors ensure the repairer repair items accordingly indicated on the estimates and repair standard complies to ITCO/ACC or Owner criteria.

Duties And Responsibilities

• To prioritize and perform the various testing/analysis (bioburden, LAL, plating and counting techniques, microbial identification, EM tests i.e. air sampling, surface viable sampling, total particulate sampling etc.) in timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently to ensure the assigned task for raw materials, in-process, utility, milk powder samples are tested in a timely manner to meet TAT, according to established test methods, technology and quality requirements to provide accurate results. Be able to assist the senior chemist or lab manager to assign the routine task within team. Flexible to work over time where is required.
• Good understanding of GLP, GDP, GMP and ISO17025 standard for working in laboratory to maintain the laboratory activities comply to these standards.
• Carry out the nutrients test by operation of the critical laboratory instrument such as HPLC, ICPMS and GC as well as the instrument basic maintenance.
• Strong knowledge on the Root Cause Analysis to support the OOS/deviations/atypical results/invalid results investigation. Be able to the lead investigation. As at least one SME for lab testing or instrumentation.
• Good understanding of TUAS QC KPIs and be able to update the performance within the team monthly in a timely manner.
• Monitor the chemistry lab expense vs the budget. Identify and implement the productivity projects to reduce the unnecessary expense and increase the laboratory efficiency such as reduced testing, rapid method etc. Involve the chem lab yearly budget activities
• Good knowledge of the Method Verification and Method Validation protocol and report write up and execution.
• Ensure the current, complete, legible notebooks and laboratory records are maintained in compliance with good laboratory practices.
• Good knowledge in lean lab concept and actively involve or lead the continuous improvement project to improve the laboratory test efficiency and productivity.
• Look after the good inventory of QC materials such as media, reagents, chemicals and consumables to support testing.
• Use GLIMS laboratory data management system effectively to manage the laboratory generated data. Be able to use GLIMS to retrieve the results to support the data trending and investigation purpose.
• Lead and maintain the housekeeping standard of laboratory, work area and equipment (e.g. practice 5S), observe safety requirements and Good Laboratory Practice in the laboratory which is compliant with company and regulatory standards.
• Proactively monitor quality trends and abnormalities and timely keep management and other departments informed of quality issues as appropriate to enable immediate corrective action. Be able to do the preliminary investigation of the abnormalities observed.
• Write and/or revise the QC SOP/WI.

Requirements:

• Degree holder at analytical chemistry, food science or related with at least 3 years working experience in milk powder manufacturing.
• Hands on experience on chemistry laboratory testing technology and instruments such as HPLC, GC, ICPMS etc preferably test nutrients in milk powder product using these instrument.

Job Purpose

Support all activities in maintaining a QC Raw Materials release lab in BioPharmOps QC. Testing of incoming raw materials and consumables, to support production needs and document in accordance with written testing SOP’s and in accordance with local/ international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain QC Raw Materials laboratory in full cGMP-compliance.

• Track and execute individual training requirements to ensure completion on time including new methods and instrumentation.

• Ensure laboratory operations are in accordance to cGMP standards

• Perform raw material testing in accordance current testing monographs and in accordance with local/ international regulations as such as United States Pharmacopoeia (USP), European Pharmacopoeia (EP), American Chemical Society (ACS) and/ or Internal Validated Methods.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma with 4 to 5 years relevant working experience in GMP-regulated industries in Quality Control. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• New entrants to biopharmaceutical industry and should not be holding a bond obligation with any organisation

• Background knowledge on analysis of USP and EP pharmacopeia methods in GMP-regulated industries in Quality Control Raw Materials laboratory.
