Focal point for inspection queries and scheduling of inspection activities. Ensures conformance of materials, purchased parts and manufactured parts in alignment with quality control plans, specifications, processes and standards. Job Responsibilities:

• Unboxing, unwrapping and preparing of items for inspection.
• Execute in process and/or final inspection of materials, purchased parts and manufactured parts to ensure conformance with quality control plan, procedures, documentation and standards.
• Review and ensure manufacturing work orders and associated documentation is completed and processed correctly in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor and ensure callibration of equipment, work areas are kept clean and appropriate PPE and best practice lifting practices are adhered to at all times.

Position 1: Operator

Quality Control

• Customer Complaints: Investigate customer complaints related to product quality or safety. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Quality Assurance

• Policy and Procedure Implementation: Enforce QA policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality control measures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant food safety regulations and certifications.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all quality-related activities, internal audits, external inspections, test results, and corrective actions. Ensure proper document control for QA/QC records.
• Training: Conduct and facilitate training sessions on food safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP), HACCP, and other quality-related topics for production, QA, and QC staff.

Process Improvement

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the QA/QC processes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze quality data and trends to identify patterns of defects or issues. Generate reports on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) through Statistical Process Control.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the QA/QC team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a quality-focused culture.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with production, R&D, procurement, and logistics to ensure a cohesive approach to product quality and safety. Provide input into new product development and specification setting.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day inspection of in-process and finished products
• Conduct daily hygiene inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas to ensure it meets required standards
• Responsible for reporting any non-conformance of products/process/ hygiene violation in timely manner
• Assist in guiding production leaders/operators in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production area
• Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections
• Assist in product development
• Assist QA Executive in implementation/ maintenance of SFA, Halal, ISO22000 & HACCP certifications
• To liaise with authorities (eg. SFA) on related Food Safety / License issues when required.
