Responsibilities :

• Perform electrical and electronic conceptual details design work.
• Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of automated machines, containing software as the major component.
• Writes new machine program, makes modification to existing machine software, or integrates software application.
• Creates and executes until testing and integration testing ensuring machine software meets requirements.
• Identify, define and implement the technical architecture for use of auto visual inspection in our product within budget and schedule.
• Review electrical and electronic documents/drawings.
• Creates, reviews, and maintains all required technical documentation/manual related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse.
• Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements.
• Reviews project work with the team, included the machine design engineers and engineering engineers.
• Provide timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to superior.
• Provides technical support to operations or other development teams.
• Overall responsibility for technical issues and coordinate with other disciplines.
• To participate in the continuous improvement programs to explore ways and means to improve production efficiency and reliability.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering with min one (1) years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with vision system database.
• Knowledge of camera, light, and lens selection for applications ranging from defect detection to part location.
• Programming background with high-level languages such as Visual C# WPF, C++ and Python.
• Experience in developing vision system with Halcon and Opteon camera.
• Good knowledge in Machine Vision programming and experiences.
• Good experience on automation controls, motors & sensors like PLC, CTC, Beckoff PC and controllers, Servo & Stepper motors.
• Familiarity with wiring/cabling size/terminations and load/temperature requirements.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery design.
• Skilled in the utilization of statistical analysis.
• Required to travel regionally (average 20% of the time).
• 5 days work week.
• Transport pick-up at Bedok MRT station.
