Purpose: Provide the fabrication steps & process time to calculate the cost of the part. This includes assessing whether the design provided is machinable, the availability of machines or tools to support the requirements and proposing cost-efficient methods.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide machining process steps for quote submission to determine process cost calculation.

Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. System Design and Development

· Design and implement solutions involving barcode scanners, RFID readers, and card-based access control systems.

As an Engineer, Design, you will:

Responsible for product analyzing, design for manufacturing (DFM), tool design 3D and 2D drafting, tool review and debugging.

The key responsibilities are as below:

• Construct mold design layout and conduct mold design review meeting.
• Design precision plastic injection molds in accordance with the requirements.
• Mold management and liaise closely with internal and external customers on matters relating to mold design.
• Preparation of detail bill of material and maintain thorough documentation of hardcopy and softcopy.
• Participate in the First-Off Tool review and assess the suitability of the tool for production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Possesses at least a Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering, and/or any equivalent engineering discipline.
• 2 years of working experience in tool design, and/or any relevant experience.
• Experience in making LSR mold design, as well as packaging mold design is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Unigraphics and Microsoft Office Applications.
• Familiar with engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Ability to develop complex designs to the point of manufacture and release to production.
• Knowledge of plastics & elastomers.
• Team player with a good verbal and written skills.

• Able to read design drawings and operate generator control panel and switchgear.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Engineering equivalent.

• Proven experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear design, control panel development, and power system studies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, E3, or other CAD tools.
• Demonstrate above-average electrical engineering skills, preferably within the power generation industry or closely related field.
