Role Responsibilities

To manage and coordinate the production of quality shop drawings and BIM models in all projects assigned with minimal supervision. He/ She must be able to carry out HVAC/piping, equipment, pumps, dryer, filter & valves related drawings will be added advantages.

• To produce 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Project or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and that the drawing submission schedule is achieved.

Experience / Skills

2. Data Entry for the project material delivery, Bill of Quantity and Tender Pricing.

3. Serves as liaison between the user and in-house contractor on all ACMV related system.

4. Provide sizing and design of ACMV system (chilled water) for individual room

5. Coordinate with supplier / sub-contractor of the tender specification and obtain the quotation from them

6. Control and supervise workmen to make sure standards of building performance, quality, time and cost schedules, and safety are complied.

7. Responsible for keeping daily work record, including additional work claims to the clients and from the subcontractors

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CSA Engineer with expertise in waterproofing, piling, and structural review for GMP and cleanroom construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing structural and architectural works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role requires a strong background in cold room and cleanroom construction within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.

Key Responsibilities

Structural & Architectural Engineering:

• Oversee and coordinate piling, waterproofing, and structural construction works.
• Review and assess engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents for compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure proper execution of cold room and cleanroom construction according to GMP standards.
• Work closely with contractors and vendors to ensure quality control and adherence to design requirements.

Project Management & Site Coordination:

• Monitor construction progress, schedules, and site activities to meet project milestones.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to structural, waterproofing, and piling works.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) engineers, project managers, and QA/QC teams.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure construction quality and safety.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all structural and architectural works comply with GMP, cleanroom, and industry regulations.
• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work permits for construction activities.
• Maintain technical documentation for waterproofing, piling, and structural works.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CSA engineering, preferably in GMP, cleanroom, or pharmaceutical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of piling, waterproofing, cold room, and cleanroom construction techniques.
• Familiarity with GMP, BCA regulations, and cleanroom classification standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or structural analysis software is a plus.
• Strong ability to liaise with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Job Description:

• Primary responsibility is to prepare test & qualification design activities in accordance to ESG design process with focus on quick turn-around time to respond to RFQs and Sales Orders. The job scope will cover the development of the test plan/documents, creation and execution the test procedures for new opto-mechanical assembly products at the FAT phase prior transferring these activities to the Process Engineering (PE) team for production manufacturing;
• Design and perform qualification to the Test set up intended for the FAT Build;
• Provide technical support to production on the maintenance of the relevant test equipment as well as for improvement programs (such as yield, efficiency, etc.) on the test procedure and setup;
• Collects and analyzes test data, summarizes results, and presents test results for review with internal and external customers;
• Ensure proper test documentation (design reports, test plans and results etc.), life cycle and data management in Product Data Management (PDM) system;
• Support Operations as a technical resource on product design failure analysis and resolution support. Represent the R&D team for testing during all engineering builds and production ramp-ups;
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or related technical field. Candidates with a BSc or MSc in Optical Engineering/Optics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferred;
• Minimum of 2 years experience required in Optics Testing related applications. Candidates applying for a Senior Engineer position will require a minimum of 4 years relevant experience;
• Good knowledge of optical engineering and optical testing principles;
• Hands-on experience with mounting and alignment of optical components required;
• Capability to design test tooling and set-up required;
• Analytical ability to trouble-shoot problems, perform root cause analysis and generate solutions.
• Proficient in data collection, statistical analysis and report generation required and use of six sigma principles to solve problems preferred;
• Candidates with proficiency in Zemax or Code V are preferred;
• Candidates with Solidworks or AutoCAD experience are preferred;
• Candidates with Quality Standards (such as ISO9001, ISO14001, AS9100, ISO13485) knowledge and audit experience are preferred;
• Good organizational and communications skills required.
