RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set design criteria, check design calculation and drawings for Electrical, ELV;
• Agree on design concepts with Team Leader
• Ensure concept and sketch designs are approved before progressing to the next stage;
• Assist in preparing fee proposals;
• Carry out feasibility work;
• Advise and report to the Team Leader and Division Manager, on the adequacy of the services; Formalize standards for specifications, drawings etc. in conjunction with Team Leaders and the Division Manager;
• Resolve any technical problems faced during the project design and/or construction stages; Investigate and recommend on engineering system selection;
• Handle all correspondences including reports, technical specifications, and other documents relating to the projects;
• Prepare and monitor cost and quantity estimates (assist for clarifications only);
• Attend design / site meetings;
• Assist Team Leader in internal staff management;
• Assist in business development activities;
• Senior engineers must be able to lead projects a team of engineers / technicians under their charge;
• Senior engineers must become fully familiar with coded and local Authority requirement; Other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Team Leader /Division Manager. Requirements
• Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Professional Engineering Board. Master’s degree in building services engineering or equivalent will also be considered.
• (Senior Electrical) 7 years' experience in design consultancy within the MEP consultancy field. (Principal Electrical) 10 years' experience in design consultancy within the MEP consultancy field. Chartership membership with professional institutions is an advantage (CEng IEEE IET IES etc)
• Ability to articulate and present design ideas, and report to stakeholders independently.
• Experience in international airports and data centres are preferred. Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Candidates with Professional Engineer registered with PE boards are welcome to apply, salary package can be discussed

Responsibilities

• Understand user requirements and perform system analysis, design and document functional and system specifications.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, document, and deploy new solutions quickly and reliably.
• Build the frontend and backend software, build business logics and APIs in the back-end to connect all systems and components together.
• Ensure the delivered applications follow security best practices and comply to enterprise security standards.
• Maintain and improve existing web applications
• Involve in both frontend and backend development
• Managing software team, guiding junior developers.
• Any other Ad Hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in software engineering or computer science or any related disciple
• Minimum of 2- 3 years of development experience in Java/J2EE, HTML, JSP, Javascript, JQuery, MS SQL, Oracle, Hibernate/JPA Struts, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful web services.
• Proactive, motivated and team player
