QC Technician

Location: Pioneer

Working Days: 7am-4pm (Monday to Friday)

Transport pickup at Boon Lay & Jurong East MRT

Job Responsibilities:

• Support daily operational function for in-process quality check of flux, paste, powder and wire:

a. Checking of CTQs like viscosity, metal content, water content, acid number, halide content, oxygen & carbon content, PSD, spark alloy composition, diameter measurement, etc.

b. Wire inspection based on failure catalog during wire production.

c. Perform simple application test like Thinky, dispensing and printing assessment.

d. Accurate data recording into excels, MES & SAP system.

e. Release PO for shipment, ensure product label is correct according to customer specific requirements.

f. Create additional COA required by customer.

g. Create barcode scan checking required by customer.

• Perform incoming quality check for raw materials, metal alloys, metal powders and flux.

a. Checking of CTQs like FTIR, viscosity, water content, acid number, appearance, oxygen content, PSD, etc.

b. Ensure supplier COA is available, checked against specifications and uploaded into SAP system.

• Perform outgoing check according to failure catalog before shipment.
• Support engineers for ad-hoc testing.
• Perform 5S at work area, including 5S of documentation (scan PO & worksheet), sample storage fridge & freezer (scrap samples after expiry date).

Job Requirement:

• Min O level or above
• 2 years relevant working knowledge of laboratory is necessary.
• Experience in viscosmeter, titrator, oxygen analyzer is advantageous.
• Knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management System (EMS)

Job Responsibilities:

Sensory Evaluation: Conduct sensory evaluation and ensure the overall status of incoming raw materials, compounding lab samples, and olfactive evaluation of aged stocks, including Local ERP & SAP transactions.

Documentation: Issue various documents and respond to technical enquiries raised internally or externally (e.g., by customers).

Investigations: Conduct investigations on customer complaint samples or rejected items.

Lab Stock Management: Ensure lab stock is sufficient for lab use.

Maintenance: Ensure preventive maintenance and external calibration of lab equipment is carried out duly.

Lab Operations: Ensure proper functioning and running of QC laboratories (Chemical, sensory, microbiology, retain sample room) in accordance with ISO9001, 5S, lean principles, ISO14000, and OSHAS 18001 standards and procedures.

Continuous Improvement: Assist and support in the implementation of continuous improvements in QA/QC functions.

Requirement:

Min. Diploma / Degree in Science

Has prior experience working in lab QC environement will be an advantage.

Job Purpose

Support all activities establishing and maintaining Microbiology lab in BioProduction Operations QC. Ensure all microbiological testing of samples for production support and documented in accordance with written testing SOP’s and in accordance with local and/or international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain QC Micro/EM laboratory in full cGMP-compliance.

• Track and execute individual training requirements to ensure completion on time including new methods and instrumentation.

• Ensure laboratory operations are in accordance to cGMP standards

• Perform microbiological testing and EM sampling in accordance current testing monographs/SOPs and in accordance with local/ international regulations.

• Ensures that testing completed in a timely manner based on plan.

• Support laboratory routine operations such as inventory management and house-keepings.

• Support the optimization of work flows in the QC Micro/EM Laboratory.

Requirements

•Minimum Diploma with 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a cGMP environment. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• New entrants to biopharmaceutical industry and should not be holding a bond obligation with any organisation

• Related experience should be in GMP-regulated industries in Quality Control

• Background knowledge on analysis such as Bioburden and Endotoxin testing

• Preferrably a working knowledge of FDA and ex-USA regulatory requirements as well as industry quality management tools, standard, and quality systems.

• Reports to Construction Manager
• Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the company's QAQC requirement
• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections
• Lead project teams in the preparation of project specific CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with specific contract requirements
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA’s good industry practice
• Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained.
• Prepare QA/QC Plan, inspection & test plans/check list for site activities Review inspection and testing reports
• Issue NCRs, propose corrective action in a timely and effective manner
• Oversee delivery inspection of project materials
• Review, approve and maintain QAQC related documentation
• Other duties as assigned and able to work with minimum supervision

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Architectural or Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 10 years of relevant site project experience in QA/QC roles for construction projects
• Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices
• Experience with CONQUAS
• Experience with Constructability Score
• Experience with Green Mark Certification
• Able to liaise with workers/Clients, Consultant, Main Con colleagues, subcon and suppliers on QA/QC works and protocols at site
