• To lead and oversee Supervision Team to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract and authorities’ requirements.

About the role

Duty Engineer

The Duty Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing all engineering operations within the hotel. This includes delegating tasks to subordinates, coordinating engineering activities, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act

• Ensure that the M&E works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications and the Building Control Act and Regulations

• Carry out inspection of M&E engineering works prior to concreting, subsequent construction work and defects rectification works

• To carry out supervision and inspection of the works as directed by the Supervision QP, SRE, consultants or Superintending Officer

Requirements:

• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer, of which at least three (3) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to major construction works in buildings, services laying and lighting & control systems.

• Degree/ Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore. • Preferably with experience in the supervision of infra services laying, lighting & control systems
