1. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of TikTok's video architecture basic services backend.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related fields.

2. Solid programming skills, excellent design, and good coding style.

3. Proficient in one of the mainstream programming languages, such as Golang/C/C++/Java/Python.

4. Deep understanding of computer principles and a good foundation in data structures and algorithms.

5. Familiar with common backend components such as MySQL, Redis, and message queues.

6. Familiar with big data components such as HDFS, HBase, Hive, Spark, and Flink is preferred.

OVERVIEW & IMPACT:
Samsung Electronics Device Solution is a global leader in Memory Semiconductor technology. The Senior Field Application Manager for Memory team will be main contact window with our Headquarters team in Korea for our sales office in Singapore office and other ASEAN countries. The incumbent Work closely with customers and HQ team for problem solving, as well as to provide technical support to the customers during product development stage and analyze failure for design-in/sustaining product. To understand how to validate and analyze failure of SSD product and able to liaise with respective stakeholders

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform or carry out test for memory product qualification
• Analyze/Identify failure and find root cause on qualification and field
• Explain and provide details of technical issues to HQ team and customers
• Conduct proper test to support customer's request
• Regular visit to develop and enhance relationship with customers
• To provide failure analysis support to regional memory customers
• Follow up on quality issues and co-work with Samsung HQ to solve it effectively
• Work with customer to carry out business specific quality initiatives
• Participate in QTR/QBRs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

• BS degree or MSC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience

• Field experience or hands-on practice or knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development (systems such as electrical, electronics, computerized, mechanical and / or combination of these). Must have good knowledge of memory products

• Fluent in Korean language would be an advantage to communicate with headquarter

• Understand Memory related ecosystem in ASEAN and India region

A qualified person should have at least 10 years in SSD development/test/analysis engineer role. Relevant QA experience in the semiconductor/electronics industry will be an added advantage.

Job Description:

• Responsible for defining QA and Testing process/practices (e.g. Test Management, Defects Management, Code Quality), QA metrics, management tools and test automation strategy across agencies as well as curate relevant and suitable Testing Courses.
• Coach IT Business Analysts and end users from the government agencies on QA and testing process/practices and test management tools to the IT teams and end users in the government agencies.
• Be part of the team at selected projects at the government agencies:
• Champion and drive product quality and QE practices in an agile/waterfall project delivery
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the product is built right

Job Requirements:

• Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or infocomm-related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in creating and implementing test strategy for systems in agile development environment.
• In-depth knowledge of a variety of test types, test levels, testing techniques and methodologies and test automation.
• A strong understanding of test-driven development (e.g. ATDD), continuous integration and continuous delivery both in principle and in practice.
• Hands-on test automation experience and experience in integrating test automation into the Continuous Integration chain as well as certification in Testing and Software Quality Assurance will be a bonus.
• Organised, methodical and meticulous in planning, management and execution.
• Team player who is self-motivated, independent, proactive, quality-conscious, customer-oriented and results-oriented.
• Excellent writing skills, good verbal communications skills and good presentation skills.
• Strong foundation in test methodologies, good analytical skills, attention to details and problem solving.
