• Provide pre-sales technical support to propose cost competitive system design solution based on tender spec & customer requirement
• Design solutions for Access Control, CCTV, Public Address, Emergency Voice Communication, Fire Alarm, Integrated Security Management and other necessary system as deemed required by the prospective customer / project (90 %)
• Foundational understanding of IT and Network systems will be necessary in design and technical assessments.
• Knowledge of Cyber-security issues and solutions will be an advantage.
• Review technical specification, system schematic, floor-plan drawings documents
• Provide system proposal and design that meet requirements & be cost competitive
• Manage the technical Compliance Appraisal, prepare Bill of Quantities and system write-up for the designed systems
• Manage Installation Work Appraisal (Scope of Work for installation)
• Prepare technical document submissions & product sourcing
• Support technical meeting with customers, end-users, consultants & vendors etc
• Demonstrate systems / products performance to clients and staffs
• Collaborate with sales, purchase & admin teams to meet tender submission date in time
• Product evaluation & POC support on potential system
• Report various system job request status with respect to milestone schedule to Section Head and all technical problem hindering system design progress

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Must have minimum 6-8 years of experience in Software Quality Testing with hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
• Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNg and Playwright.
• Experience with open-source performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, Locust or enterprise level tools such as HP LoadRunner.
• Experience with open-source penetration testing tools such as ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map or enterprise level tools such as HP WebInspect, Nessus, CheckMarx.
• Must have strong understanding of testing techniques, risk analysis, test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Must have proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin with good to have knowledge in Springboot.
• Experience working in SCRUM teams.

(A) Essential Job Functions:

The Design Engineer (C&S) is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Coordination of civil/structural works for construction.
• To attend meetings with client, subcontractors and consultants, etc.
