Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field
• Experience: At least 3 years of building and/or civil engineering experience.
• Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would have an added advantage.
• Completed at least 1 building project

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of quality requirement of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications
• Quality Management Systems certification – ISO 9000
• Knowledge in Structural and Architectural works

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Establishing work procedures, instructions and monitor performance and control of workmanship towards quality.
• Ensure sub-contractors and suppliers comply with project’s QA/QC requirement and manage project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards and regulations.
• Carry out audit processes, review procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Carry out various inspections and tests on the materials, products and components during various stages and completion of construction.
• Identify areas for process improvements, implement best practices and ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Maintain records of inspection results, deviations and corrective actions taken to ensure traceability and accountability.
• Initiate corrective actions to resolve the issue and prevent recurrence when defects or non-conformities are found.
• Review client’s complaints relating to QA/QC matters.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed reports on quality performance.

Requirements:

• ITE / Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the local construction industry.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer (QA/QC Engineer)

Requirements:

• Recognized Diploma/Degree in related field
• Experience in working with Contractors
• Relevant experience in Civil/Building, preferably with experience in façade installation works
• Good team player and adaptable to a dynamic environment

Responsibilities:-

• To lead the QA/QC team
• To provide training and coaching to the team members in façade related works.
• To assess each construction process and procedure. Provide feedback and continuous improvement whenevee necessary
• To ensure internal quality controls are in place and being maintained properly
• Work closely with other project personnel such as production and site management team to deliver high quality works
• Prepare monthly analysis and report to Management in regards to site and project activities

Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer (QA/QC Engineer)

Jobscope:

Monitor Product Quality Compliance

* Perform routine and non-standard tests on materials, products and other Quality Control purposes using HPLC, GC, Empower system etc

* Identify OOS, deviations and quality problems

* Report testing activities and results

* Comply with Quality and HSE procedures when carrying out sampling and QC tests

Manage Laboratory Operations

* Follow the organization’s operational excellence model for laboratory work

* Perform routine calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment

* Report equipment OOS issues and equipment purchase requests

* Maintain integrity, accuracy and completeness of QC data and records

Optimise quality and efficiency of department workflows and activities

* Assist in preparing and participate for laboratory inspections and audits

* Compile data to support business and performance metrics reporting

* Propose solutions to improve QC procedures, activities and workflows

Requirements:

• Diploma in science related.
• At least one year experience in QC lab. Knowledge in operating HPLC and Empower software added advantage.
• Requires to work on shift (Morning and afternoon only)
