Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining hardware, software, and networks by conducting regular maintenance and updates, including regular backups and upgrades
• Work closely with project team on monthly security related audit and assist Project Manager of necessary reporting.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime and improve system reliability.
• Identifying and resolving network, connectivity, and server issues.
• Upgrading firmware, software, and outdated hardware systems.
• Creating user documents and providing training on new computer systems. Preparing technical documents, such as error and maintenance reports.
• Working with the Application development team for the system integration, configuration and help to diagnose issues.
• Providing technical support to users and resolving technical errors.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, information systems, software engineering, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-based systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols and services.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
• Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.
• Knowledge of coding and scripting.
• Cloud experience, especially in AWS (Amazon Web Service).

• Provide supervision services for all M&E works to ensure that contractors complies with contract/authorities'/agencies' requirements
• Oversee the M&E team and personnel
• Review all drawings and specifications and highlight any discrepancies, non-workable and/or missing details to OIC and the QP(D)s and QP(S)
• Review and comment on all construction method statements, risk assessmentsfor works, workplans, design for safety (DfS) workshop and SOP proposals
• Evaluate technically any claims submitted by main contractor and submit recommendation to the Superintending Officer
• Provide all relevant endorsements required by authorities/agencies/client
• Assist QPD for application of TOP and CSC
• Prepare site supervision plan and supervise all works directed by OIC
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and prepare necessary site progress and status report for update to client
• Adhere to regulations and requirements of all stakeholders for any supervision work while ensuring proper supervision
• Report any accident/incident/near miss on site

Requirements

• Accredited with Resident Engineer certification under Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore
• Minimum 10 years of experience , of which at least 8 years in major construction works in buildings, services laying and testing and commissioning
• A Mechanical and Electrical Engineering degree recognised by the PEB of Singapore
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report
• Licensed electrical worker and licensed plumber are preferred

Infrastructure Solution Dept. /IT Project Management Team

• Experience in designing, building, and managing highly secure, scalable, and available architectures.
• Expertise in configuring cloud infrastructure components such as networking and security services.
• Proficiency in monitoring cloud management and data storage services.
• Expertise in assessing an organization's technological infrastructure and managing migrations to the cloud.
• Ability to train colleagues and stakeholders in the proper usage of cloud-based technology.
• Knowledge of ensuring security measures are in place to protect company data in the cloud.
• Responsibility for overseeing projects from the design phase through implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and secure technical architectures.

Preferred:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical solutions engineering role with expertise in solution design for enterprise-level clients.
• Strong experience in software development, system architecture, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• On-prem knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SolarWinds, Hyper-V Center, VMware, storage systems (SAN, NAS), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Experience negotiating with vendors on cost control, scalability, and other relevant issues.
• Ability to identify and define process or system improvement opportunities.
• Experience in evaluating and recommending emerging technologies.
• Ability to oversee working standards of cloud-based systems and make necessary improvements.
• Experience in configuring various processes, including computer, servers, storage, and operating systems.
• Experience liaising with senior management regarding hardware and software procurement and installation.
• Negotiation skills with suppliers for purchasing or renting hardware and storage facilities.
• Experience in creating functions and applications that support cloud-based utilities for internal use.
• Regular participation in meetings with clients, both physical and virtual, for project presentations and discussions.
• Staying updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements when necessary.
