The team acts as a quality gate for SDM major milestones to ensure entry & exit criteria are met and is responsible to review the quality of the artefacts such as functional & design specification, testing documents and others project deliverables. The successful candidate will be working with Project and Technical Delivery managers to ensure high quality of deliverables. Key Responsibilities • Establish controls and compliance checks on SDM processes • Design, formulate and enforce governance & compliance process improvement. • Conduct quality gate review for SDM major milestones (analysis, design, build, test and deployment) • Perform walkthroughs and interviews with project and application delivery managers to drive process adherence • Report findings and provide consulting support in ensuring compliances with procedures • Aside from day-to-day duties, there will be requirements to undertake other responsibilities such as management reporting & other centrally driven project initiatives as needed • Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines • At least 8 years of relevant experience in IT process compliance audit, Project Management and Business Process Design • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organization and analytical skills a MUST • Strong working experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio, MS Project and SharePoint • Prior experience in IT risk management and security will be added advantage

Core Responsibilities:

• To perform quality assurance functions with regard to the product (jet engine components), process and maintain quality management system while ensuring compliance with all related government agencies, aviation authorities and customers’ requirements and regulations.
• Establish quality procedures and quality control instructions.
• Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.
• Perform internal audits to evaluate quality system, products and processes (ISO9001 / AS9100 / NADCAP).
• Perform vendors’ and on-site audits as required.
• Uphold customers’ and regulatory authorities’ requirements.
• To carry-out other QA functions as required.

Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years’ of relevant experience in Aerospace QA environment.
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to details, able to multi-task and commit to job.
• Familiar with ISO9001 / AS9100 Quality Management System requirements.
• Experience in using problem-solving tools including fishbone diagrams, FMEA and 5-whys methodology.
• Able to interact effectively with other functional departments such as Engineering and Production to resolve issues relating to products and processes.
• Familiarity with audit covering special processes including heat treatment, plasma coating, NDT would be a plus
• Experience in metallurgical laboratory evaluations would be advantageous
