Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable practices into daily operations and business processes
• Analyze and report on key sustainability metrics, communicating progress and impact through the Annual Sustainability Report, Employee Townhall, K&S website and to the ESG Council
• Disclose sustainability information through customer surveys, ESG questionnaires and identify ESG gaps for closure
• Coordinate and report on initiatives to reduce environmental impact, eg. energy consumption, carbon emissions, paper usage, water usage and waste recycling
• Support the development of interactive online ESG training courses
• Manage the administration of the Quality Portal
• Support Product Compliance program and Go Green Team objectives
• Collaborate with K&S Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) representatives, non-profit and government organizations to support CSR initiatives

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or above in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Engineering or Diploma in Sustainability Management or with relevant experience
• Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards, carbon footprint measurement and/or environmental regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data processing
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in sustainability engineering, environmental management, or a similar role within a corporate setting is desirable
• Preferred knowledge in risk assessments, life cycle assessment and management system frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)

SUMMARY
Represent the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing on global customer accounts. Serve as liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers on global quality related issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Develop and maintain QA plans and timeliness of global new product introductions utilizing Advanced Product Quality Planning and Process Optimization specific to the customer.
· Provide support for all quoting activities by participation in initial process design, development, and implementation phases.
· Evaluate and provide input to inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.
· Support all global training programs specific to their customer by development and implementation of specialized training sessions for all applicable functions.
· Develop appropriate systems for document storage, access and review pertaining to global customer accounts.
· Review all supplies, internal, and customer discrepancies, coordinate and track the effectiveness of corrective/proactive action efforts.
· Conduct periodic review and maintenance of all documentation files; develop appropriate systems for document storage and access.
· Review all supplier or customer discrepancies. Coordinate and track the corrective/preventative action effort.
· Participate in the vendor survey activities as applicable. Drive proactive participation with suppliers and (when possible) aid in their process improvement efforts.
· Interface with all departments as applied to the Policies and Procedures.
· Provide insight and assistance of implementing and maintaining Process Improvement and Optimization concentrating on proactive methodologies.
· Assist in driving the standardization of manufacturing processes of global customer accounts.
· Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Position Overview:

Vita Coco’s Quality Control Specialist (APAC) will be a key member of the Technical Team. The ideal candidate will support in achieving the company’s quality performance by executing the established goals on quality management:

· Monitoring continuous improvement strategies in all aspects of Vita Coco’s Quality Management by reviewing and tracking the management of quality control data from various sources.

· Support new product launches in a technical capacity.

· Maintain the supplier network quality and food safety operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (FDA/SMA) and third-party audits.

· Identify and execute quality control projects, including training and technical support, and perform regular communication with suppliers to report in non-conformances or quality issues.

Day-to-day activities include but are not limited to: Analyzing and performing production testing; Reviewing lab results received from company-owned or independent labs; Monitoring product integrity; Shelf life testing and similar testing as well as providing reports on product quality to the senior management at large; Maintaining and supporting various quality data systems.

This role requires frequent travel to Vietnam and other countries in APAC.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

· Working closely with the team to achieve quality efforts in APAC from supplier to market.

· Manage and liaise with internal and external audits on our supplier network.

· Partner with Operations & Technical team, and suppliers, to assist with any troubleshooting as required.

· Review all aspects of quality data and provide different reporting and project tracking as requested.

· Collect, analyze, and report on quality data, including lab results and product integrity tests.

· Drive investigations and resolve product quality complaints and compliance issues, providing on-the-ground support and conducting necessary corrective actions.

· Monitor compliance with regulatory and quality standards, participate in audits, and deliver training to suppliers on new products and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor's Degree in food technology and/or microbiology or a similar technical degree · Clear and effective communicator. Able to confidently converse with different stakeholders around the region.

· 2 to 5 years’ experience in quality management and/or R&D in food and beverage, with Aseptic tetra experience is a plus.

· Statistical analysis skills preferred, using various Business Analytics tools such as PowerBI, Python or similar

· Understanding of project management and various project management tools.

· Flexible to work extended hours to meet critical deadlines.

· Available for international travel within APAC region.
