What the role is

The Pollution Control 1 Division (PCD1) is responsible for the control of air and water pollution, hazardous substances and toxic industrial waste. The Chemical Control and Management Department (CCMD) of PCD1 oversees the management of hazardous substances and toxic industrial wastes to safeguard Singapore’s environment and public health. You will be part of the team in CCMD for managing and reviewing regulatory controls on hazardous substances.

• Develop, review and enhance policies and regulatory frameworks to ensure environmentally sound management of chemicals that are controlled as hazardous substances under the Environmental Protection Management Act and its relevant regulations
• Keep abreast of and monitor the latest developments in the area of chemical control such as emerging chemicals of concern
• Monitor latest developments of various Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) that Singapore is a Party to, and ensure Singapore’s compliance with the obligations under the MEAs

The Job

We are seeking to hire a talented individual to join the APAC GBAM AML organization. This is a Front Line unit role, responsible for interpreting AML standards and guidance issued or updated by Global Financial Crimes and Compliance organization in the bank. This role will report to APAC GBAM AML Lead & will be responsible to deliver timely analysis; impact assessment and implementation of Technology; People; Process infrastructure to ensure compliance with the regulatory changes and mitigate regulatory risk for the bank. This role will have a strong face off with Regional Business Leaders; COO’s; MLRO’s; Operational Leaders within EPO; Global Markets & Global Banking.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Enterprise and Regional AML policy and standards; Global Banking and Markets products / business and operations processes.
• Independently drive impact assessment and implementation of system; people; processes and control infrastructure for complex volume of AML regulatory changes within Asia Pacific region.
• Facilitate communication of impact and changes to APAC Regional stakeholders.
• Be a subject matter expert for Anti Money Laundering issues within APAC Region, engage and collaborate closely with Regional and Global Stakeholders within GFCC; Operations and Front Line Units to drive solutions with a 360 view.
• Act as a point of contact in the region for:
• Key AML technology and process-control projects and initiatives;
• Management of AML Self-Identified Audit Issues (SIAI) & Compliance Identified Audit Issues (CIAI);
• Management of Internal and external AML exam and
• Any other business matters related to AML that may arise during course of usual business.

Job Description

● Daily / Monthly AE deployment for classes and make necessary changes

● To arrange induction related to Administration tasks for new AE
● Coordinate with relevant departments after CD requested for TTT for any new courses

● To maintain updated sheet on AE class observations & MOE Reg monitoring

● Responsible for verifying, sorting, filing and storing all physical and electronic documents which include the registration forms, student contracts, confirmation letters/emails, attendance registers, assessment records and any other documents required by SSG /Committee for Private Education (CPE), Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC) or any other bodies.

● Follow-up with Learning Support Executives (LSEs) on the absent reasons for the trainees and reportthe reasons in the Class Run Status, and record the reasons in the tracking spreadsheet.

● Uploads data in TP Gateway (TPG) as per the internal cut-off timelines (course runs, sessions, attendance QR code, attendance upload, payment confirmation, assessment records)

● Monitors the TAEmS and TPG interfaces and attends to any errors promptly.

● Prepare course materials for classes (AR/Answer Sheet/MCQ/Recipe/props and lay-out rooms set-up for assessment)● TRAQOM daily update into result upload sheet and respective trainers file● Prepares operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly) in the agreed communication channels

● Assists in trainees morning check-in (trainee personal info update, E-Registration Form signing, Props, etc)
● Covers duties at other campuses as and when required.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Familiarity with client-side, server-side, automation frameworks, engines, security, etc., in one or more specialised testing areas is preferred.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, PHP, with a focus on automation scripting and test automation development.
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proficient in spoken and writing English & Chinese (due to inherent nature of our business/ subsidiary in China and able to communicate with suppliers from time to time)
