EE Product Quality Engineer
Responsibilities
- Support the post-release product design change or improvement process, overseeing the validation and verification of the product.
- Implement quality assurance/control tools within the Design Quality Assurance scope, collaborating with the team.
- Ensure readiness of quality and manufacturing processes prior to mass production for a seamless launch.
- Incorporate and apply lessons learned from other/new products to enhance ongoing projects.
- Identify and manage Critical-To-Quality parameters, contributing innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
- Provide technical support in engineering design reviews, drawing evaluations, and specification assessments to mitigate risks and ensure products meet established quality standards.
- Utilize reliability engineering principles and tools to develop test setups for Reliability Laboratory testing, overseeing projects like HALT or ORT tests.
- Conduct troubleshooting for modules or reliability setups in the event of anomalies.
- Perform hands-on electrical circuit and mechanical failure analysis, applying procedures to identify failure locations and root causes.
- Take charge of corrective action activities, collaborating closely with stakeholders for prompt issue resolution.
- Generate a comprehensive Product Analysis Report in a timely manner and oversee the monitoring of product returns trends, working with production/product/design teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Apply industry-standard testing methodologies (SEM, EDX, FTIR, etc.) based on experience.
- Actively seek and implement process improvement ideas within the primary work area.
- Complete work in a timely manner and prioritize jobs according to requirements.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, with preferred prior applicable experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, particularly in Failure Analysis within an electronic environment.
- Preferred experience in a Quality or Design role within a Product Development environment.
- Broad technical background with the ability to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, service, and suppliers across various issues, including international collaboration.
- Good understanding of Electronic Manufacturing, Assembly, and Test processes.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and technical manuals, with a basic understanding of semiconductor devices, IC assembly/package, and test processes.
