Credit Risk Control Manager
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of SME working capital loan and personal loan applicants.
- Conducted detailed financial analysis and assessed repayment capacity to ensure loan approval aligned with the institution’s risk appetite.
- Develop, implement, and maintain credit policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
- Regularly review and update credit risk frameworks to adapt to changing market conditions.
- Monitor and analyze the loan portfolio to identify potential risk concentrations and ensure adequate diversification.
- Ensure credit risk practices comply with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) guidelines and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee robust mechanisms to identify and prevent fraudulent activities within SME and personal loan applications.
- Liaise with sales, operations, and legal teams to align credit risk strategies with business objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to relationship managers and credit analysts on credit risk best practices.
- Generate regular credit risk reports for senior management, highlighting key trends, exceptions, and recommendations.
- Utilize data analytics tools to enhance decision-making and improve credit scoring models.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or equivalent) are a plus.
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably within SME lending or personal loan sectors.
Proven track record in developing and implementing credit risk strategies and frameworks.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
Excellent knowledge of MAS regulations and credit risk guidelines in Singapore.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities with the capability to work independently and manage a team.
