System Framework Responsibilities (Regional)
Quality and Safety System Management
Ā· Set and maintain the MC Packaging Quality and Safety system.
Ā· Document and enforce manufacturing standards and expectations (e.g., traceability, sanitization, GMP).
Ā· Generate key reports on meeting required quality standards and overseeing production process efficiency. (Mainly Singapore and Malaysia)
Ā· Prepare documents for internal and external quality audits and maintenance of line control equipment files. (Mainly Singapore and Malaysia)
Ā· Support projects on quality and safety risk assessment and mitigation actions.
Regulatory Compliance and Auditing
Ā· Assess and report compliance together with MC Packaging Quality and Safety system (e.g., audit policies for vendors, external and internal manufacturing sites, and relevant supply chain functions).
Ā· Identify continuous improvement opportunities for performance and efficiency, and implement fit-for-purpose initiatives.
Ā· Lead and support the Issue and Crisis teams for major events involving MCP manufacturing sites and external partners.
Policy and Standards Development
Ā· Develop and maintain compliance standards for the QA organization across Singapore, China, and Malaysia. (4 sites)
Ā· Set standards and expectations for MCP and external manufacturing sites.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Ā· Partner with internal stakeholders & external stakeholders, ensuring continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Ā· Chair meetings with QC Heads of Departments (HODs) and hold regular meetings with Factory / Operations / General Managers
Ā· Work closely with the Business Unit Owner related to Quality Assurance of different manufacturing sites.
Ā· Improve staff skills through training programs.
Manufacturing Responsibilities (Singapore Primary, Malaysia Secondary)
Quality Control Operations
Ā· Manage and lead QC operations for Singapore plant, and ad hoc Malaysia (Iskandar)
Ā· Ensure high consistent quality standards and enforce stringent control processes.
Ā· Introduce up-to-date monitoring of factory operations to ensure quality compliance.
Issue Resolution
Ā· Lead investigations for defective quality issues raised by customers, especially key customers.
Ā· Establish root causes and implement effective corrective actions to prevent mistakes.
Ā· Lead the Quality Team, ensuring overall manufacturing quality function and compliance.
Technology and Equipment Upgrades
Ā· Plan upgrades for advanced QC test equipment and reliable software technology.
Experience and Competency
Ā· Experience in the Manufacturing industry, preferred in the metal packaging industry.
Ā· Having experience in Manufacturing Quality Management, GMP knowledge, Analytical Skills, Manufacturing & Control Analysis, Root Cause Analysis
Ā· Strong in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Problem Solving, Team Player.
Ā· Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are also essential because document control specialists regularly communicate with internal and external business partners.
Ā· Ability to interact effectively at all personnel levels and with all functional departments to achieve the objective of the quality management system.
Ā· Bachelorās degree in Quality, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education. Over 10 years of experience in Quality, Process Improvement, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
Ā· Deep understanding of quality systems, and environmental and regulatory parameters.
Ā· Broad business knowledge and integration of Marketing, Operation, and Quality strategies.

Ā· Proven experience in handling Issues and Crises
