Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the initiation and scoping of new projects.
- Coach and lead the business analysis team, determining the right approach for the team to take and evaluating this through the life of a project.
- Create a compelling case for change with a detailed business case, developing a consistent approach to business case development and tracking.
- Promote and encourage a highly collaborative, engaging, and inclusive working practice and culture within the team and throughout the organization.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, establishing and meeting of stakeholder objectives up to and including CXOs.
- Set the methods and standards for eliciting requirements, defining standards and quality targets whilst managing multiple stakeholder perspectives and expectations.
- Identify business problems/opportunities and define the most suitable approach to ensure that recommendations fit with strategic business objectives.
- Act as a recognized expert, continuously reflecting and challenging the team and creating an environment for success.
- Ensure customer needs are understood and met by the team. Apply strategic thinking in how to provide the best service for the customer.
- Provide business process design and documentation expertise, recommend business process and/or system improvements using formal and informal techniques. Lead the development and implementation of these improvements/new processes.
- Provide guidance and feedback on how to improve the quality of the business analysis team and ensure that changes implemented result in a positive customer outcome.
Experience
- 15+ years of experience building and developing business solutions
- 5+ years of experience in developing business analyst’s team
- Experience of working in an Agile environment – financial services background is preferred
- In depth understanding of Insurance, Insurance products, market and processes is advantageous
- Management and leadership of a team of 15+ business analysts
- A background of working on technical and non-technical projects from a lead BA point of view.
- Proven experience of developing a team of Business Analysts working across different areas such as resource management, succession planning and personal development.
- Target Operating Model (TOM) operational and procedure experience
- Extensive knowledge in development of detailed business cases, capturing benefits and benefits realization.
- Expert in business modelling and business process engineering.
- Extensive experience of planning and prioritization of demand to support the organization.
- Excellent communication skills knowing how to deliver effective and engaging presentations at Executive level
- Ability to articulate complex, technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and the ability to think out of the box.
- Experience leading business analysts from a junior level to mid-level and guiding them to follow industry best practice and excel in their role as they grow their career at Prudential Singapore.
- You will also be looking after the business analysis team from a day-to-day managerial point of view, this will involve working with the team to support career development, day to day project assignments and all other administrative leadership duties.

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or related field; MBA or other relevant degrees will be added advantages
