Our Water business is currently hiring an ARE Instrumentation Controls and Automation (ICA) to be part of the major water treatment project in Tuas, Singapore. Jacobs role is The Client's Representative managing design and construction supervision.

The ARE ICA will participate in the engineering / technical review process and also oversee ICA field supervision / inspection and quality control and assurance matters for the construction of the respective facilities in the contracts under their care on TWRP project using their experience and knowledge in the construction, inspection and quality assurance of ICA elements. They will work across all the related TWRP contracts under the CM team they are assigned to. They will supervise the contractors and maintain consistency across all the contracts and ensure that the quality of all ICA works are in compliance with the specifications and applicable codes and regulations.

The ARE will work closely with the RE (ICA), Lead RE (ICA),and Engineering Manager to communicate with the Client and with 3rd Parties as required.

• Work under the direction of Control Systems Specialist (CSS) / Construction Manager, and closely coordinate with Resident Engineering team members, including RE / RTO for CSA and M&E disciplines.
• Review and understand scope, BIM, specifications and drawings for all civil and structural works.
• Understand and follow plans, procedures, workflows, systems and tools for the supervision of TWRP.
• Work with the BIM model for the ICA works.
• Working closely with the Lead RE / RE ICA, comply with the forms and procedures for ICA function.
• Under the direction of the CSS / RE ICA, carry out technical & engineering reviews of contractors submissions, providing review comments and ensuring contractor’s submissions are in line with specification requirements.
• Provide support in cost estimation for variation works, and participating in change management processes
• Enforce specifications and codes of practice.
• Stay up to date with the ICA works progress and upcoming works through various means such as review of contractor works notices, WhatsApp group(s) and communications with the Resident Engineers.
• Ensure inspection documentation fully complies with local authorities’ and project requirements.
• Keep RE / Lead RE / Engineering Manager informed of all significant quality issues and concerns.
• Maintain a register of all construction quality issues for ICA. Monitor these to verify issues rectified and/or closed out.
• Ensure the adequacy of engineering, inspection, and testing functions for all contracts.
• Monitor special inspection and testing requirements for ICA and ensure coordination of these efforts across all contracts.
• Ensure the contractors’ documentation of their works meet the required project standards.
• Keep and maintain updated site record to ensure records are up to date and in good order.
• Attendance in meetings and discussions with Client and contractors on ICA quality matters.
• Monitor the works of the Contractors for works designed and supervised by the Contractors including receipt and review of required forms from the contractors.
• Keep abreast of Contractors’ progress and performance and provide recommendation for improvements when a gap is identified.
• Carry out keeping and maintenance of site records and carry out periodical checks of site records to ensure records are up to date and in good order.
• Keep abreast of monthly Work Progress Reports
• When requested, provide an independent assessment of the certification of the value of work completed and recommendation of progress payments to be made to Contractor
• Ensure that the use of compatible materials and equipment is well coordinated.
• Attendance in meetings, discussions with clients, contractors and to lead in technical discussions

To be a successful candidate, you should have a minimum Diploma/Degree in ICA or Electrical with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the infrastructure project construction stage, have an understanding of ICA design, and experience in the design and implementation of ICA works. Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with Project Director (PD), Project Services Manager (PSM), Commercial and Hull Delivery Manager (HDM) for CIMC Contractual deliverables.
• Coordinates with HDM on CIMC matters.
• Supports PD, & HDM on correspondences with CIMC.
• Supports PD, HDM and Commercial Officer & Costing Officer for Variation Order/claims with CIMC.
• Coordinates with Equipment Package Manager to monitor and track equipment/bulk deliveries.
• Coordinates with Petrobras Team visit to Fab Yard/Site (CIMC).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years relevant project control manager work experience with FPSO projects is required for this position.
• Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently.

Summary

The role will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality in labelling to enhance Linguistics AI model accuracy and drive continuous enhancement

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily sampling tasks for one or multiple projects in your designated language.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis, identify issues, manage appeals, and offer feedback to enhance labeling quality.
• Analyze and provide feedback on guideline updates, identifying areas for improvement and potential gaps.
• Collaborate closely with labeling teams, Project POC (Point of Contact), and Project QA (Quality Assurance) to ensure adherence to labeling quality standards.
• Participate in calibrations with Labeling teams, alongside Project QA, or provide additional details through offline methods when necessary.
• Collaborate with Model Training or Product teams to align and improve labeling guidelines based on language-specific features.
• Engage with various cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the development of quality inspection standards and continually optimize the process and system platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience; an advanced degree in linguistic, literature, philosophy, journalism, or political science is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in using data analysis to identify trends.
• Strong aptitude for learning, effective cross-department communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a well-developed logical and common-sense approach to job tasks.
• Familiarity with office software such as Excel and Word, with a preference for experience in data processing and other data analysis capabilities.

· Perform the duty of Environmental Control Officer in accordance to Environmental Public Health Act

· Maintain ECO registration by NEA

· Full Time ECO - For contract sum exceeding 50 million

· Submission of site environmental control program and site environmental control report

· Attend to all feedback on such irregularities and inform the Occupier immediately

· Inspect the construction site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working condition and do not pose any environmental health hazard;

· Point out and discuss environmental health irregularities such as mosquito and fly breeding, rodent infestation, noise/ dust/ smoke/ water pollution, poor housekeeping, earth littering, poor refuse management, poor maintenance of sanitary facilities, etc. with the occupier of the construction site and recommend measures to rectify such irregularities;

· Ensure workplace is in compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Act and its subsidiary regulations that is relevant to its nature of work

· Monitoring of the WSH Management System implementation procedures on site

· Conducting regular site inspections and corrective actions

· To enforce and monitor safety conduct on site

· Carry out investigations and reporting on all incidents, inclusive of accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences as necessary

· Oversee safe project execution & lead the subcontractors to ensure compliance to all WSH matters

· Liaise closely with project team to provide assistance in any WSH matters

· Recommend the employer of the worksite to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice

· Assist in implementation of safety measurement on the worksite

· Identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice which is carried out in the worksite

· To inspect and report any safety infringement

· Updating & maintaining of all Safety Health & Environmental documentations and legal registers.

Requirements:

· Candidate must be a Registered Environmental Control Officer with National Environmental Agency

· At least 2 years of working experience in related field is required

· Possess Advance Certificate in WSH or Safety Coordinator Training Certificate

· Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction or LTA Projects

· Manage working at Height

· Lifting Supervisor

· Confined Space Safety Assessor

• Establish new and maintaining existing relationships with customers.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements and calculate quotations for clients.
• Perform pre-sales technical assistance and product education.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronic, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
• At least 2 years of sales experience in cleanroom environment/semiconductor industry
