The Scope

You will be part of Esco Aster's Quality Control team, comprising of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Microbiology laboratories, and contribute to the overall site mission and objectives. Specifically, you will contribute to microbial-related analytical testing and operational activities to ensure the compliance of site’s finished bio-products.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of Quality Control (QC) equipment.
• Provide technical support and advice on QC matters to other areas within the site: Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Process Development.
• Manage the provision of chemical and microbiological analytical services to internal/external customers to ensure that all starting materials/water samples/intermediates and final products are analyzed and tested according to the stipulated quality and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods or stability samples.
• Where applicable, Involve in Method development, Method Validation and Method Transfer for incoming consumables, raw materials & finished products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role which is part of the Supply Chain will be responsible for maintaining and improving existing automation capabilities, as well as developing a team of automation and maintenance technicians under the incumbent's charge.

Responsibilities

• Support automation maintenance team in performing regular preventive/corrective/ predictive /conditions based / ad hoc / reliability centred based maintenance on storage systems, equipment, and packaging machines that would ensure optimal operation with minimal disruption to supply chain's operation.
• Support Automation Maintenance Lead on complex diagnostics and repair malfunctioning complex logistics and packaging equipment.
• Support installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of storage systems and packaging equipment in project phase as team representative.
• Support automation team in maintaining industrial control systems for automated equipment ( Software / hardware)
• Deep Dive and Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
• Provide engineering support for the modifications of robotic and automation systems.
• Work closely with operations and automation teams to ensure that all automation equipment and processes meet safety standards and comply with company policies.
• Support in prepare reports about system performance and breakdowns from technicians, for management.

• Able to communicate with oversea IT Online support, Hotline Software Engineers in UK, Australia, Italy and understand the steps to follow up during the troubleshooting.
