Job Requirement

• At least 3-5 years relevant working experience in Engineering, Facilities or Estates Management, Quality Management Systems, Quality Control or equivalent.
• Minimally Diploma in any Engineering field, Facilities or Estates Management or equivalent with knowledge in ISO Standards 9001, 14001 and/or 41001.
• Certified QMS Auditor / Lead Auditor in ISO or equivalent will be advantageous.

· EDUCATION: Degree in science or related discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).

The Quality Technician, Product Quality is responsible for product release of complete instrument and play key role in ensuring the released instrument is meeting quality and regulatory requirements.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, PQE and is part of the QARA team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

• Perform outgoing product release (Device History Records buy-off) and inspection on instruments according to documented procedures.

The Principal Engineer, Supplier Quality is responsible for driving Quality performance of the suppliers to meet Sciex Product Quality requirements through supplier qualification processes, supplier control processes, aligned with supplier management strategies.

This position reports to the Senior Manager Supplier Quality and is part of the QARA team located in Singapore and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive improvement of quality performance of suppliers and support NPD/NPI project, ensure resolution of the issues identified in NPI.
• Lead supplier qualification activities for new suppliers with Global Sourcing & Global Supply Chain.
• Plan and execute periodic audits at suppliers' site to ensure suppliers' QMS is meeting ISO standards, IPC standards, FDA QSR (GMP) and compliance to agreed process control plans
• Monitor supplier performance, review periodic quality data/reports/scorecards and related action plans
• Drive resolution of complex material quality issues by deep diving suppliers' root cause analysis and by working with suppliers to monitor corrective action and facilitating with internal support where required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering with of 5-8 years related experience in Supplier Quality Management, Process Engineering is preferred
• In Depth knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes, familiar with IPC 610 standards
• Demonstrated experience on the performance of audits, lead-auditor certification preferred
• Familiar with problem solving tools such as 5 why root cause analysis, and Quality tools such as DFM, PFMEA, GR&R, Control Plan, SPC.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 will be added advantage

Travel Requirements:

• Ability to travel – 20-30%, and maybe travel on short notice

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Managing suppliers including supplier evaluation and supplier performance
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations and quality system practices in a Medical Device or Pharmaceutical company is preferred

1. Perform inspection of pressure vessel, piping including stage, final inspection and tank inspections.

Main Purpose of Job:

This new position is responsible for performing production-related inspection jobs, carrying out equipment and calibration, and maintaining documentation and records.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

· Prepare the lab for ISO 9001:2015 certification audits, including laboratory equipment qualification and method validation.

· Responsible for manufacturing management and quality control (QC) based on the quality assurance system (QAS)

· Design and develop forms, work instructions and methods for testing and evaluation.

· Utilizing knowledge in engineering fields for chemical and product quality inspection.

· Ensure lab equipment/instrument calibration and maintenance are maintained as planned.

· Trend and feedback of monitoring data to relevant sections and drive for investigation and action as necessary.

· Chemical Analysis of products using ICP, X-ray diffractometer, HPLC, FTIR, particle size analyser, UV, Endotoxin test and chloride, sulfate, carbonate limit test.

· Carry out TOC, Endotoxin test, and environmental monitoring tests.

· Carry out maintenance and calibration of equipment. Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, and calibration of records.

· Perform investigation when the test is out-of-spec or abnormal.

· Prepare validation documents and carry out the qualification of equipment etc.

· Cross function collaboration to achieve compliance with quality requirements, improvements, development and implementation of new products /processes, supporting customer complaints, etc.

· Process explanation and audit support in customer audit

· Corrective and preventive action (CAPA) support

· Perform all other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Education:

Diploma in a scientific discipline or possess equivalent experience or higher.

Experience:

· Five years’ experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical laboratory environment

· Have experience with lab equipment such as HPLC, ICP, FT-IR, UV Spectrometer and environmental monitoring sample testing.

· Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Working Conditions:

Work is generally performed within an indoor laboratory environment with adequate temperature. Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a Laboratory coat, Safety shoes, Appropriate gloves, hearing protection, Respiratory Protection etc., will be required for potential exposure to hazardous chemicals and noise hazards.
