We are seeking a skilled individual with experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) to enhance the stability and reliability of our application. This role involves being the primary point of contact for identifying and verifying bugs and issues, effectively communicating with the development team to address these concerns and conducting thorough UAT before each app release. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with technical teams to ensure the highest quality of our software products. Responsibilities:
Candidates will be responsible for performing functional front-end testing across iOS apps, Android apps, and web platforms. The goal is to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, with a focus on testing user interfaces, workflows, and responsiveness to maintain cross-platform consistency and adherence to specifications.
The role involves developing and documenting detailed test plans and test cases that align with business requirements and user stories. Candidates should be proficient in executing these plans efficiently, optimizing test coverage, and identifying key areas for focused testing.
Candidates will conduct thorough regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not affect existing functionality. This requires proactively identifying potential risks and collaborating with internal teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
Strong attention to detail is essential for identifying UI/UX inconsistencies and technical bugs. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills to investigate and pinpoint technical issues effectively.
Candidates will document bugs in issue tracking systems (such as Jira), writing clear and concise reports, and ensuring timely communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They will be responsible for following up on issues until they are resolved and validating the fixes.
Excellent communication skills are required to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams. Candidates must ensure critical information is relayed clearly and promptly, facilitating decision-making during product releases and major updates. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to work in a collaborative environment and manage competing priorities.
Candidates are expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of internal QA processes by identifying areas for efficiency gains and implementing best practices in testing and documentation.
Finally, candidates should become proficient in all internal tools and stay up to date with evolving product features. They will also be responsible for creating training materials and documentation to support team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Product Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and testing of mobile applications, with a strong grasp of QA methodologies and tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or DevOps environments.
- Experience with software testing tools, such as Jira.
- Solid experience in defining product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and designers.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify, analyze, and communicate technical issues.
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to delivering high-quality products to our users.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
