We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in Cucumber, TestNG and Playwright. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust testing frameworks. This role involves both manual and automated testing across various stages of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test cases, test plans, and testing frameworks to align with evolving requirements and policies.
• Build, improve, and manage test environments and frameworks for automated testing.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of new features, including functional, manual, performance, and exploratory testing.
• Identify and document defects, ensuring effective resolution.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
• Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 3 years in software quality testing with hands-on experience in automation.
• In-depth knowledge of testing techniques, risk analysis, and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of test-driven development (TDD), continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin; familiarity with Spring Boot is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with open-source testing frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or enterprise tools like HP LoadRunner.
• Exposure to penetration testing tools such as ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map, or enterprise solutions like CheckMarx or Nessus.

Responsibilities:

• Author method validation protocols and execute method validation/ verification for raw material testing.
• Support the laboratory start-up activities, participate in equipment qualification activities including (but not limited to) generation of user requirement specifications, SOPs and configuration specifications.
• Perform QC test for raw material samples including compendial tests and identification tests.
• Perform QC sampling of incoming raw materials.
• Author/ revise raw material specification and other QC related documents.
• Support laboratory activities such as housekeeping and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related life Sciences or Technology with at least 5-7 years of experience in QC raw material testing.
• Experience in method validation/ verification in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Good understanding of good laboratory practices, good documentation practice and data integrity requirements.
• Experienced in routine laboratory operations.
• Experienced/ participated in method transfer, method validation and method verification for raw material testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Scope:

This Game Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) will be responsible for ensuring that the localized English version of our various games possess the same high standards and quality when comparing it against the original Chinese version.

This role involves evaluating all the text and word choices within the games, such as on the UI elements, menus, and pop-ups etc. He / She will have to pay close attention to words phrasing, meaning / definition and relevancy.

He / She will also be able to provide feedback and suggestions on UI (User interface), UX (User experience) to improve our players’ gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Thoroughly play the original Chinese version of the game as well as the localized English version to evaluate linguistic accuracy and quality.

· Be familiar with the various games’ mechanics, story / narrative to understand the intended meaning of the texts.

· Assess the choice of words used in the English localization for appropriateness and definition consistency.

· Identify any awkward phrasing, mis-translations, or areas where the text does not fit within UI constraints (such as words are too long inside the text boxes).

· Provide clear and constructive feedback on specific text passages, suggesting alternative wording where necessary to enhance clarity and engagement.

· Work and communicate with the project teams’ Producer and the localization team to resolve language, UI, UX issues and implement suggested changes to them effectively.

· Any other game QA, project job duties as and when needed.
