Summary

Reporting to the Lead, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance SEA, you will be responsible for supporting the development and administration of STERIS’s global regulatory policy positions across product lines of the STERIS businesses by preparing international regulatory submissions for STERIS (and its affiliates) product approvals and the works to meet Singapore and other Southeast Asia countries post-market surveillance requirements. You will also provide support for plans to achieve identified corporate regulatory policy objectives. You are keeping abreast of and providing regular reporting to key business leaders on key regulatory developments that impact customers, or STERIS’s business directly.

What You Will Do

• Identify regulatory and post-market requirements for new products or product enhancements early in the product development cycle. Collect regulatory and post-market requirements for Singapore and other key markets in Southeast Asia.
• Gather information to support regulatory submission and related compliance activities. Use this information to prepare regulatory submissions in a complete, thorough format to support STERIS product claims. Coordinate compulsory test in the region when there is the need.
• Review product revision requests to assure compliance with regulatory and post-market requirements. Assess new product launch requirements and provide the regulatory information according to the needs.
• Work with product teams to develop regulatory strategy based on regulatory and post-market requirements.
• Review and approve labelling and marketing literature, as needed.
• Support supervisor, management and other Regulatory Affairs staff with all regulatory and compliance matters.
• Work with direct supervisor and senior internal stakeholders to identify key initiatives, which may be affected by present or emerging policies. Develop and recommend government affairs policy positions to upper management.
• Support QA on the Recall and Adverse Event reporting in Singapore and other key markets in Southeast Asia, perform Recall and Adverse Event reporting.
• Archive and maintain all paper and electronic submission documents properly.
• Protect company confidential information by properly storing, retrieving, and disseminating such information only to those authorised.
• Apply for special access and/or other permits related to product/site, as needed.
• Support QA on local quality system processes, GDPMDS, internal and external audit.
• Support on NEA Packaging Reporting, SPF Hazardous License, as needed.
• Conduct monthly update meeting with all relevant stakeholders, actively participate in RA/QA team activities.
• Monitor proposed and newly implemented regulations, assess impact to STERIS; develop and implement regulatory strategies to comply with regulations and minimize any negative impact to STERIS Business.
• Provide proactive and strategic guidance regarding pending regulations / government legislative actions and changes in the regulatory environment to the business units. Develop strong relationships with government and industry as well as notified bodies to ensure clear and effective communications and sources of information impacting STERIS.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

• 3 - 5 years solid experience with good track record in SEA Regulatory Affairs professions.
• Well-versed in the standards and regulations of SEA markets.
• Experience in Medical Device registration.
• A self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good organisational, time management, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
• Able to work under time pressure to meet deadlines and flexible to work additional reasonable hours to join in conference calls as required.

Job Summary：We are seeking an experienced Internal Control & Compliance Executive to oversee and enhance our internal control systems and compliance frameworks. This role is critical in ensuring that our operations adhere to legal regulations and internal policies, thereby mitigating risks and safeguarding the organization’s integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish company’s compliance management system to integrate the company’s overall risk management, internal control and compliance. Develop, implement, and maintain internal control and compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Organize informationization construction of internal control and compliance management.

-Develop and execute annual plan for internal control and compliance management, including relevant work and training.

-Conduct continuous internal control and compliance reviews in economic contracts and major decision, and provide comments on compliance issue and recommend resolution.

- Coordinate, guide and assist in lawsuit and arbitration involving Singapore companies, overseas subsidiaries and representative offices.

- Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly internal control and compliance reports to the management and HQ. Maintain focus on the compliance management requirements in key areas including but not limited to anti-commercial bribery, anti-money laundering, international sanctions, export control, anti-monopoly, anti-unfair competition, intellectual property and data information. Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization.

- Conduct risk identification, assessments, precaution in accordance with relevant law, policies, guidelines of company and its HQ.

- Drive the compliance providing support to the management in order to ensure the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of the internal control. Recommend improvements to maximize business operations.

- Develop and maintain a strong connection with risk control, internal control, compliance experts in the oil & gas industrial, lubricant field and cooperate with relevant state and government requirements on the above-mentioned areas.

Qualifications：

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification is preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal control, compliance, audit roles, contract review and management, procurement and bidding or legal. Relevant experience in oil & gas industrial or lubricant field is preferred.

- Knowledge of laws, regulations in relation to the oil & gas industrial, lubricant field. Better understanding and utilization of internal control management system (e.g., COSO, ISO).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Bilingual proficiency is must, as the role requires communication with Chinese clients and headquarters.

- Strong written skill and can manage various work reports.

- Proficiency in using internal control, compliance management relevant software and tools (ERP, contract management etc.)

1. Perform daily periodic checks of Central Kitchen to ensure compliance to in-house GMP/GHP standards, SOP, Product Specifications, etc.

2. Conduct random checks on incoming raw materials, and perform product cutting on raw materials to ensure goods received are within in-house specifications.

3. Ensure Process Verification and Validation exercise are completed (i.e. SOP/CCP verification, new product launch process observation, monthly facility checks, monthly traceability exercise, finished goods shelf-life verification, etc.)

4. Conduct investigations on product/process non-conformance (on-line and customer complaints) and follow-up on proposed corrective/preventive measures to ensure effectiveness.

5. Promptly follow-up with contractors (chemical/pest control) during routine servicing to ensure work orders are conducted as per contract.

6. Participate and engage in quality system implementation (audit activities by regulatory/certification bodies and customers).

7. Conduct data/trend analysis on non-conformity of raw material/finished goods, pest reporting statistics, monthly production and facility check statistics, etc. for process and quality improvement.

8. Ensure analysis of food products via microbiological and physical testing, calibration of lab equipment and measurement tools, internal sensory evaluation are conducted as per schedule.

9. Report all non-conformances, discrepancies and/or deviations, and follow-up on the investigation of the non-conformity results.

10. Other projects as assigned.
