Job Purpose

The Senior IT Test Analyst will work with respective business users, development manager, project managers and other stakeholders with overall responsibility in System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing (RT), Automated Regression Testing (ART) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.

This role is important to ensure the quality of the deliverables is not comprised to avoid any operational issues, regulatory breach, corporate risk or financial loss to the company.

The Job

• Responsible for coordinating activities that related to testing initiatives.
• Plan and execute SIT and RT and support the business in the UAT testing.
• Demonstrate skills in facilitating and organizing test execution of test cases/ scripts in a proficient manner.
• Prepare and update the Test Summary Report at the end of a phase or at the completion of project.
• Support SIT Test Manager to organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the Management.
• Track and prepare the report of testing activities such as test results, test case coverage, defects, status, performance baselines etc and follow through the defect resolutions and ensure all defects are resolved within the stipulated timeframe.
• Support UAT Test Manager to ensure the availability of testing environment and test cases execution is completed as per the schedule
• Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlight any potential concerns/ risks and proactively share best risk management practices.

Qualifications - External

Our Requirements

• Preferable Degree in Computer Science, Business Information System, Insurance or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience preferably in Life Insurance industry.
• Proven SIT, RT, UAT Testing experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to construct simple SQL for data queries.
• Must have working experience in performing ART using tool like Selenium.
• Experience in Quicktest Pro (QTP) as well as technical skills in Java and Oracle PLSQL will be an added advantage.
• Possess strong planning, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with strong domain knowledge in insurance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimum direction and management oversight.
• Possess leadership skill with hands-on experience as a Test Analyst or Test Manager.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
